Is there a way we can put pictures in our siggy?

We have this disabled because sometimes someone who doesn't know or an irresponsible user can really much up the works with a giant image. However, since this will prolly not be a destination forum for those types of people, I don't see the harm. If it becomes a prob, we can always shut it off! Try again in about 3 minutes.

Ok. Now lets see that pic! Btw, sometimes the pics people put for their sig will work as well or better as an avatar. It's great when everyone has an av, and not allowing sig pics is one way to promote that, so help me out and put a pic in your av!!

I can't figure out how to get my pic in there. When I go to "edit Avatar" it show this Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post. Do not use an avatar Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it. What do I do?

YOu can either click 'edit avatar' or there is a place to do it in edit profile. Either way, below the radio button that says 'do not use an avatar' there should be the option to creat a custom avatar either by uploading a small graphic from your computer or by linking to an offsite picture by inserting the URL of that picture. Does this help?
