Title: Question of the Day -- Your house, what's it like?
Posted: 2 yearss ago

We all love our homes. Sure, they have problems. Having children in the home is a sure fire way to help things get broken! Still, it's nice to have a place to call home.

So tell us about yours. How many rooms do you have. Is it too small, too big? Do you live in an apartment? What's your favorite thing about your place? What do you dislike most? What color is it?

Go ahead, share whatever you want about it. We'd love to hear it!

My house................We have two bedrooms with large walk in closets. I have a nice size kitchen. A HUGE living room, which I love. Everything else is pretty general but what I can't live without is my daughters play room. I believe it should be a must have in every house. We're talking nothing but toys and books from wall to wall. Hours of play time. For the both of us.Smile

Our house is just the right size with 3 bdrm's and a decent size backyard, but with all of my husband's gear we could use an extra room.  We are thinking about adding a room extension off of our master, so that will become his music room.  Then our 3rd room will be a guest room or a 2nd child's room if we decide to have another.

My favorite thing is the great room / kitchen area - it is so open that I never feel isolated while working in the kitchen.

However, I have to say, it is not so much about the physical elements of the house.  The really cool thing is that it is our home, with our personalities all around it, and it is the place we look forward to coming to every day.

Well, our house is pretty big I guess...We have a 2400 sq. ft  2 story with all 4 bedrooms upstairs.  There are 3 bathrooms, formal dining room, living room and a kitchen.  We use one of the bedrooms for a office- that room has 3 walk in closets in it!!  I love that.  The other rooms are for a guest room, and my sons room.  Our master is nice- seperate walk in closets, I guess it is pretty typical-  Of course, with all of that room, I have no idea what room will be our school room!!  My hubby just might have to share his office!!  AHHHH!  So, that is what our house is like!!

2,400 sq. feet, that is big! Ours is 1,940. We have 3 bed/2.5 bath. Detached garage. It's pretty nice. We live in a growing neighborhood in phoenix. It's in the historic district. It had used to been a kinda bad neighborhood, but it's cleaned up very nicely.

I love my home. I have some problems. Some outlets don't work, the flooring in the hallway has raised up a little from some leaking from the kitchen. You know, just basic "to do'ers" around the house. We also want new furniture. As a young couple, Amanda and I don't have the money or the accumulation of a ton of stuff for the house. But we have turned our place into our own, and we love it!

Currently our house is about 1900 sq.ft. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath, but with 6 people in our family soo far and adding 2 more soon, we bought a new house and it should be done in 2 months, 1 month if we're lucky! The new house that we bought is a KB Home and they have been soo great so far. Our new house will be 3070 sq.ft. and it comes with 5 bedroom, but we got a second option that added 2 more rooms. So we will finally have a total of 7 rooms and 3 bath. We can't wait!

our house is kinda old it was bulit in 1920. I have all the origianl hard wood floors it this beautiful square pattern. they are awesome when we bought the house and pulled up the carpet it was like finding a treasure.there has been an addition added on to the house, the play room right off the kitchen and just some more kitchen space.the kitchen really is the center of our home we spend alot of time in here.living room is huge, and a nice fomal dinning room. we have 3 bed rooms, 2 baths an attic we would like to finish and make more living space and a basement that is in the works right now we just have to figure what we are going to do about the floors down there. (tile, carpet, linolium) who knows?oh and no white walls in the whole house no beige either all color every room.
