What types of activities does everyone do when they have date night with their loved ones. Typically, Amanda and i just go to dinner and a movie. I think we want to do something else.

That doesn't really include going out to clubs or bars. We are pretty far passed that. I was thinking more of a really fun activity that doesn't necessarily involve drinking. Does anyone have any great ideas or something that they have done on date night that they can share. I guess I am running out of ideas!

We like to play texas hold'em so we try and find games to do......we also will set a date night with another couple and go to the arcades......Windtunnel is going to be our next date night.  But we like to go to olive garden and get the breadsticks and sald and just talk.  A few times we just went to a resort in Phx...and got massages and pedicures together....that was way cool....My hubby loves pedicures....  It's awesome just to be able to do it.....We are very thankful that my mom watches our children when we want to do something over night......We use to go every 6 months to vegas take a quick flight over for the weekend and see a show or 2.....Plenty to do there......that can be done pretty cheap too.

Dinner and a concert are our big date nights.

We love all kinds of music, granted, there is not a lot of talking - but we enjoy spending a quite dinner and then rocking it out together.



 

What about a good old-fashioned game of bowling!  (if you are not a smoker you should try to find one that isn't too smoky!)  That's the only thing I don't like about going to a bowling alley.

The one at Jillian's at Desert Ridge is a nice, small bowling alley.

We don't get a date night ever because we have no one to watch the kids for us but bowling is fun! 

What about playing pool someplace?   There are places to play pool without going to a bar.  I think there is a room at Jillian's for that too.

theres smoke free bowling alleys and soon you wont be able to smoke at any bowling alleys. kyrene lanes is non- smoking except for in the bar and any bowling alley in tempe will be non smoking i would say the same with mesa but im not sure since there are still places you can smoke in mesa.

Okay, so my husband and I are big losers!  Our son will be two on Wednesday and we have hired a babysitter once.  That was because I have to go to an HOA board meeting and my husband had to work.  We definitely need date nights, but I feel guilty leaving my son with a sitter.  How do I fix that?  My son is always our date chaperone...
