I have to go to a baby shower and I would like to give my friend a very unique gift but also something useful. Something priced under $100? Any suggestions?:confused:

I found a seller on ebay that makes custom diaper bag sets (includes diaper bags and changing pads) that are wonderful, usually priced around $50.00. There are one of a kind and something made especially for them. I had a cowboy "toddler" size bag made for my son and a larger "infant" diaper bag made from vintage lace pillowcase (over laid on the material) for my daughter. I also have had 4 made for friends, everyone seemed to enjoy them. I could get her seller name if it is something you might be intreseted in.

I've also seen these really cute centerpieces called, "Diaper Cakes". It's a "cake" made of rolled up diapers and littered with all sorts of practical little goodies such as pacifiers, bibs, nail clippers, and more! You can see tons of these on eBay. I got a diaper cake for my baby shower and it was the most adorable thing!

What about the Bumbo seat. My 3 month old absolutley loves it. Or something that I would of loved getting is something I didn't know exsisted until about a week ago-- The Breathable Bumper. It fits on the crib just like a normal bumper and will keep the little ones hands and feet it but it is made of a cushioned mesh material so that if the baby rolls up against it they can still breathe. I sleep so much better at night.

If it's for a girl and you want to buy a cute little outfit I can make you some bows to match-on an interchangeable nylon headband. I just made some for my friends newborn and it looks so cute! *Niki

One of my husband's students gave us a personalized step stool and our son has LOVED it. His letter's in his name are blocks and from about 4 months he has been attracted to it, wanting to pull the block letters out, and now plays with it daily. i would just go to babies r us and see what interesting things you can find, they have soe stuff that you would never even think of. im lucky and have a babies r us about a mile from my apt which is kinda good since i didnt have a baby shower so i pick stuff up as i find out about it heh.
