Has anyone had any success or failures with Nutrisystem for weight loss and conditioning?  Trying to get back into shape and thinking of combining this with some more intense cardio + strength. 

 Curious if the Nutrisystem works though.

They are sure promoting the heck out of it. That's the commercial with Dan Marino, right? Not sure if it does, but it's getting a ton of commercial time...



 

 My mom's friend used Jenny Craig and she lost a lot of weight. That was years ago though.

My friend's mother used Nutri-System and it worked wonders - she looks fantastic.  Besides the diet, all she did was walk.  She was very strict with it.

My parents just started it, and I saw some results while they were here, however they did not stick to it, and gained all back since they did not eat there meals / portions.



 

Do you know if the food was good. Looks good on the commercial, but then again, it's a commercial. I can't tell you how many times I think the hamburgers on McDonalds commercials actually look so big and tasty. Not as much when you actually get them.

I did see a blurb on the bottom of the screen that said you don't get the vegetables with the meals. You have to do that yourself.

I never had the desire to pay for the meals with Nutrisystem or Jenny Craig.  I am doing Weight Watchers and I lost 13 pounds after my first month.  I like it because I can still eat normal food and I can go out to eat and prepare and eat meals with my family.  If you haven't tried anything yet, you might want to try Weight Watchers.  Read up on it too.  Consumer Reports actually states that Weight Watchers is the best weight loss program you could join.
