Title: Travel To the BCS Championship Game
Posted: 2 yearss ago

Hope nobody spent the ton of loot needed to travel to AZ and watch the BCS Championship Game.  I heard pairs of tickets were selling for $2K a pop.  With travel, hotel, tickets and transpertation to the U PIG (University of Phoenix In Glendale) it definitely got a little pricy to watch a completely lopsided blowout.  Even Florida fans have to be a little upset that they didn't at least get to see a good game.

Traveling to AZ for the Fiesta Bowl on the other hand really paid off with one of the best football games in history.

Did anyone go, what was the atmosphere?

Congrats to Florida though - National Champs!

What a horrible game. I thought that it would be closer than that. Ohio State didn't even show up to play!

That was a great game.  Meyer out coached Tressel going back 40 days.

One team was well led and ready, the other was not.  I don't blame the athletes at all.

The new guard gave teh old guard and absolute spanking.  I loved every minute of it.  It was a clinic.

The Fiesta Bowl was better though.  Overall a great year for bowls.

I'm glad I watched both from home.  The $$ out there were ridiculous.  I read one fan that had coem to the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe a few years ago complain that being stuck on the west side with nowhere to go post game really sucked.  They better fix that by the Super Bowl.

I am really shocked more Gator fans did not travel from FL.  Living there - them FL people LOVE their football!

However I am glad to see the outcome - the Gators brought the swamp to the house!

I talked my husband out of betting on the game - we could have won a mint with them being the underdog - GOSH darn it, that $10,000,000 would have been close - HA!
