ok simon had his exit casting 9-22-06 i didnt get the pics till 2-15-07 and i gave up on bugging tim to convert them from pdf to jpg a long time ago and just rebrought it up today and he actually did it woohoo hehe. so here they are late but finally done.

My Owen had to wear a helmet as well, I just added an album with pictures of him before and after. I had to do them myself, the place he got his helmet didn't do pictures. He wore his helmet from June 4, 07 until August 3, 07 | |

Your son looks great! Our four year old had/has torticollis, but it's much better now. I wish we had known about some of the things you guys did. I don't know how old your son is but for our daughter now, it seems to get worse right before growth spurts and right as I am ready to take her back to the orthopod it loosens back up. The doc said we can most likely expect that pattern because of the trauma to the SCM it might just take a little while after a growth spurt to get to where it should be.

pezzyJoined: 9/04/06 Posts: 1549 Mommytalking Super Legend Rep points: 15020 Send PM pezzy is online! | Title: finally before and after banding pics Posted: 2 months ago simon will be 3 in jan. his ped sent us to a physical therapist for a evaluation because the home exercises didnt seem to be working. simon was in physical therapy for an hour once a week for 6 months, his pt recommended we get the free eval for the doc band so we did and he was apporved through insurance to get one. after he had been in pt for awhile and they wernt seeing to much progress she recommended we see a orthopedic surgeon which of course scheduled us over a month out, our pt told us that since the muscle wasnt relaxing the ortho would either want to inject it with botox to make it relax or do surgery, by the time we had the appointment the muscle finally relaxed and the ortho said everything looked good so nothing had to be done i was sooo relieved. we were lucky during all this we had very good insurance and everything was paid for. |
