Title: Costumes for Halloween
Posted: 2 months ago

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right forum for this.  I wanted to share with everyone a very cool site I found.  I was looking for a costume for my 2 year old.  Well she told me she wanted to be a purple Barbie fairy.  I thought to myself how the heck am I going to pull this off without making one myself.  Anyways, to make a long story short, I found this awesome site.  It is http://www.mydressuptrunk.com ....  I purchased the little purple fairy outfit and wings.  When it arrived Victoria was so excited she had to wear it.  It turned out to be the perfect costume and exactly what she wanted.  One thing I was happy about was how well made it was.  It is super soft and comfortable.  It also seems like it will hold up after multipe washes.  I originally bought her a Tinkerbell costume and it is beautiful but I did not want to let her wear it for fear she would mess it up.

Anyways, please do not misunderstand me and think I am trying to promote my own site.  I simply thought with Halloween coming that I would share something cool that I found.  I will post a picture soon of my little cutie wearing it.  She is so fun to watch.  She runs around saying "I can fly!  I can fly!"  It just makes me feel so good inside to be able to make her smile like that.

I am not sure if anyone is interested but I posted some photos of Victoria with her purple fairy outfit in my gallery.  If you are interested take a look.  She loves this outfit and has been having so much fun with it.  I forgot to take some with the wings on though.  I definitely think this will be her halloween costume of choice as opposed to the Tinkerbell one I got.

Enjoy!

I love those homemade costumes - thinking next year Rivers may get one!

We picked up a dinosaur costume, which is being used as an Alligator costume from Babystyle (www.babystyle.com ...).  I have used them for all of his costumes and love them!

Go figure, Disney doesn't make a crocodile costume from Peter Pan which is what Rivers decided he wanted to be last weekend - hence the route we took above.

The first halloween costume of my son was tigger, we got it from the mall. The next two are handmade, sheriff and pirate. This year he already knows what he wants, to be superman and we'll just buy from the mall (again).
