A friend of mine recomended that I see this new documentary called "Vaccinations? Assessing the Risks and Benefits". It was really eye opening for me and I just wanted to recommend it to all you fellow mommys and ask you what you guys think about getting your kids vaccinated. I mean I have had all my shots and my son has had all his except the chicken pox vaccine, but after watching the film I'm kind of not sure how I feel about certain vaccines any more.

It is hard to imagine our kids with small pox or being in an iron lung- it is not in our generation.  I know there is risk and I am for greening our vaccines.  Remember though the risk for a lot of what our children our vaccinated for still exisit in other countries- and kills children still.  Talk with your Dr.  You can strech the vaccines out more- decide which vaccines you can get by without for awhile and look into "Green our Vaccines" ...  Keeping our kids safe from disease and unsafe vaccines.

Sometimes documentries can be one-sided look at the opposing side too.

There was a great feature from Dr. Bob Sears about vaccines a while back. Here's the link:

Thank you guys so much for your advice. I just called the pediatrician ans schedules an appointment to discuss vaccinations. And thanks for the link I'm definitely going to check it out.

By the way, here is the link for the trailer of the documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qtvhi5Bmj8 .... I watched parts of it again, and though I don't agree with all of it I think some of what the doctor says in the film makes a lot of sense. He's not completely anti vaccines, he just thinks that some are unnecessary for kids living in the US.
