1.  I like to leave love notes for my family to find...in lunchboxes, notebooks, backpacks, bedroom doors

2.  I give my kids a little extra allowance on weeks that they were really nice to each other and my husband and I

3.  I buy little gifts for my kids and treat them when they are nice to each other for no reason 

4.  spend time with each child alone and make special time just for them

5.  I give my family massages, they love this..but Mom never seems to get one in return....hmmmmm

Lovely Idea for top five list Bren !!

  1) Ive left Love notes in lunchboxes, suitcases, pockets for various  family members  .. and even a few in DHs SANDWICHS over years for some clorful memories and stories ... lol..

  2) Ive Cooked and baked Special Fave foods for each ... Sammi loves Shrimp Dip and Mac n Cheese , KKs Always loved CChicken Pot Pies  and Mint choco stuff, Grumpy used to adore Scratch Best Choco Cake w peanut butter icing , pineappleleupside cake and strawberry or blueberry cheese cakes, fast version Shepard Pie  , lasgna, 

  3)Slipping lil surprizes in Fish tank  All lil kids notice and LOVE to find much as Grumpy... cute stuff for otherrs occasionally  still, only as they dont really enjoy as much anymore . Gary slips lil things on my desktop when he can find the space  ol   and see how long it takes for me to notice ..

  4) I tend to try and leave front room so others feel more like quiet family space  like for Sammi and Rob and boys .. to feel more Private   and like a family ... I dont know if they REALIZE turning over TV asnd home to them as a gift yet  but one day they will. Same for KK When poppa and I take boys  and free em all up to watch movies or go out  its a gift to them and US ... and babies too I pray .

  5) This was one of our Biggest  while not Smartest  LOVE OFFERINGS to our girls.. When we went to move to Hi ... we, after much discussion, asked some Dear friends to move in  rent free  to tend to our pets we Had to leave behind , and to let girls move back home if they didnt like it there...  I would Still do that  but make a few chages about if they moved back...  Ive always taught my kids pets arent objects ... if we adopt them, we give them up Only  if absolutely no choice and I Honour that  still ...   

Notes are at the top of my list too!

Taking care of a chore that I don't normally do is another

Planning a special activity that I know the person or family will enjoy

Cooking a meal that is a favorite for dh

And with Rivers being so young, extra longer play times or playing an activity he loves for a longer period of time

 Cooking faves dishes of each..that they know theyre special .  

 holding hair and wetting faces while being ill

 Letting go all negative feelings moment we see anothers pain ..

 PLAYING WITH ,HUGGING TIGHT,  KISSES

  PRAYING  FAITHFULLY FOR  Each

3. Being interested in the things they enjoy doing

5. Just being there for them
