As most of you already know, I am a stay at home mom of 3. I love my kids and I love being here to raise them and watch them change everyday. I wish my hubby could experience the things that happen like I get to. We have been blessed that his company has let him have a company truck for the last 7 years. Now they want to take it away. He works in a town that is about 30 mins from us so it was very nice not having to pay for gas. We have to buy a vehicle for him to use and now pay for gas. The reason I am posting this is because of this new expense and the price for the weekly trips to Walmart for supplies, I started working again. I used to be the night manager at the local grocery store, working 50+ hours a week, 6pm-4am. I missed my kids terribly. I am now working 1-2 nights a week for about 10 hours a week. Its not much, but it is going to help with the kids and I am not managing (thank God). I can't believe that my Walmart trips used to cost me about $200.00 every other week and now it is costing about $260.00 for the same things. Outrageous!!  If my going back to work for a few hours a week is going to help out my family, I am going to do it. I like contributing. It makes me feel really good.

I have an interview a week from Tuesday.....with the price of everything going up we don't have a choice!

i have to say i love working and being a mom. i feel that i finally help my husband in that department and feel less stress over money. but not only that i am in charge and i am good at what i do. i feel validated sometimes more then i do at home. but then it makes spending time with my boys even more special.

I got a job- the hours are perfect and it is Mon- fri which is hard to find in Health Care.  I am woking at a group home with only 4 residents so it will be alot easier the 12!

I'm in the process of trying to find a job now, I have an interview tomorrow, so I am praying to get a job. I love being at home with ds, but it is hard not working. I've always wanted to be able to work with ds, because then dh could get to know his son a little better!!
