I would like to ask all of you to say some prayers for my extended family. They are not my personal family but my ems family.

Over the past week there has been here in AZ three Medical Helicopter crashes. The first one occurred last week. A AirEvac helicopter was trying to land to pick up a patient who was involved in a motorcycle wreck. For some reason the pilot decided not to tie up traffic by landing on the roadway but rather the dirt. When it was starting to land the rotors kicked up a bunch of dust and they lost control and ended up rolling the helicopter multiple times in the desert. All were thrown clear of the wreck. Thankfully no one was killed but the three on board were injured.

The second one occurred a couple days ago was between two medical helicopters up in Flagstaff, Arizona. This was a mid-air collision. Out of the 7 people in the aircrafts only one survived this horrible collision. They were rumored to be heading to and from Flagstaff Medical Center each with Patients on board. The collision occurred about a mile away from the hospital. One of the patients that died was also a firefighter from another state who was here fighting the forest fire up near the Grand Canyon. They arent sure exactly what has happened yet really in both accidents.

This really hits home to me cause they are like my own family. And I have lost family.

Unfortuntely the sole survivor passed away a week later due to his injuries. May they all rest in peace!!
