My kiddos and I thought about baking our local fire department cookies just to give them our thanks. I know they are going to be busy with all the fourth of july celebration. So I thought of baking them some cookies so they can have a  little piece of home while they are busy running around. I will post pictures as soon as I am done baking.

Thats a wonderful idea!! The fire department enjoys it when people show thier appreciation of all thier hard work. I know I do. Makes me feel good when the Patient  or anyone says Thank you for what I do.

Well my kiddos and I took the cookies to the fire stations. The person who opened the door was surprised and very happy. Good looking man by the way!!

He showed the kids all the equipment and the boys loved it. I was happy to have put a smile on his face as well as he was to receive it. I wanted to take pictures but my camera broke. He said that he really apreciates the thought and that we are welcome too come by when ever they are there.

See what I mean!!! They really love the attention like that. Esp when they see the young ones involved. Feed a hungry Fireman and he will make you thier best friend! LOL!!
