I have a 7 and 9 year old that I have to get used to being home all day again. For the past 9 months, it has been just me and Joshua (my 15 month old) and now the house is loud and busy again all day long. Hubby thinks I will go crazy by the end of the summer, I tend to agree. The 2 oldest are at that age where they fight all the time, what a joy. I am going to get them involved with activities so they are not in the house all summer long. Since we moved this past winter, we now live closer to some of their friends so we plan to have play time with friends and go to the park, swimming, time at the library and lots of squirt gun and water balloon fights. ( I love those) Happy summer break all you MT mommies. Stop and look how miraculous God is by the colors of the season.

Next Wednesday is Emma's last day of school. I am actually kind of looking forward to it, because then Timothy will have someone to play with again during the day. And Emma is signed up for T-ball in June, and both of them are taking swimming lessons in July. Then, in between, we will have playdates, trips to the park and the zoo, trips to the beach, and a lot of sprinkler, squirt gun and sidewalk art fun. "I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." -Psalm 57:9-11.

With summer break right around the corner here, I agree with the house being filled with the lovely sounds of children....and the fighting. I remember so well growing up with 4 other siblings. My mom was definately crazy by the end of summer. With 5 kids, she planned very cheap or free activities for us......I am making an activity list myself to follow this summer. (Placed strategically on my fridge). Let's share ideas.

Check with your local theater and see if they have the summer movie club...ours does and on WEd and THurs from June 18th until July 30th they will be showing free movies at 10 am. Its first come first serve, but we will try to make a few.

It seems like I have so much to do and not enough hours in the day. I live in a town of 2500 people so we don't have a movie theatre, or bowling alley or anything like that. I plan to keep busy though. With 3 kids, its hard not to be busy all the time. I just got done mowing the lawn and finishing up staining the deck which I started on Saturday. I am taking a break from working on the inside of the house for now and working on doing some landscaping. Last weekend we got the kids room painted so they are happy. My next inside project is painting the dining room. I love my new house. Stop and look how miraculous God is by the colors of the season.

Wellp my kids who are 12 and 14 will be abit busy at least in June. My son is going to Camp Pendleton to spend a week there seeing what the life of a Soldier is like. He will also get to spend a day at Six Flags in California. Im so jealous about that part!! He will be doing alot of things while at the Army Base. I cant wait to see what photos he brings home!!! What an experience. My daughter Caitlynn will be going to Summer school. She wanted to. So that will take care of part of the summer. I want to go Camping this summer, that is if we can have a campfire. I am gonna also go to Fry's and buy season passes to the waterparks. So that will take up the whole summer.
