Mommytalk wanted to do something special for the mom's at MT. We are in couraging you all to think of the good things that this journey we call motherhood brings to us daily.Wha is the most rewarding part of being a mother? Thats the question, write your essay and get it in to contest@mommytalk.com ... by May 9th.

The winning essay will go up as the feature on Mother's Day and a 25$ pre-paid Visa will be sent out to the winner, so she may treat herself to something fun!

Okay, love to say I would do it, but the last few times I have had the best of intentions but no time!

Mine Done

I don't know if I'll get around to the essay, but I just wanted to take the time to wish all you mothers a Happy Mother's Day. This is a special time to honor not only your mother but her mother and her mother's mother and all the mothers who make the world a softer, warmer place. I have never felt more grateful for my mother than right now as she battles stage 4 cancer. After all the battles she fought ( and won!) for me, I wish I could return the favor. She will continue to be my inspiration for the strength of motherhood, for undying unconditional love that only a mother understands.
