I know a couple of other sites I've been at,  they have a mini side bar, showing how many or who are in the chat room...   and I thought if it was possible for the Mt site,  it would work great, since almost eveyone stops in for a minute or two looking for someone to chat with, but usually u just see a long list of who has left the chat already Smile just a thought!

To those of  you who were experiencing oddities...lord knows I was....

I got a hint from this super man of a tech guy... he suggested I run my adware cleaner thing... I'm assuming I was loaded down with spy wear thus making My beloved MT get all jacked up....

at anyrate I cleaned things up with the adware program and things are alot better now.... I also ran my crap cleaner too....

maybe those of us having issues need to clean house just a lil FYI

I've said it before, but I like to go back and delete posts sometimes. Call it second thoughts. When i click on delete, it sends me to Reply to Thread. This has made me less willing to open up in posts since I see it as non reversable.

I sound like a broken record, but everyday I have a million emails to open. I just left a group I really loved because I couldn't handle receiving an email every time a new post was up.  I'd rather not receive TMT info in the form of a PM. Couldn't this just be on the homepage as an announcement to everyone? Let's save PM for private messages between friends. That way we won't be bombarded.

I agree wholeheartedly with Dierdre, but I have one thing more to add. Is it really necessary to PM people every time you enter the chat room? Every time I log on now I have a ton of PM's and 99% of the are, "Hi...just wanted to let you know I'm in the chat room if you want to chat!" If I want to chat, I'd prolly be IN the chat room. It's pretty annoying.

I like the pm's that tell me who's in chat.  Half the time I'm on here, I don't pay attention to it since there's usually no one in there.  I've had some great chats because people have pm'ed me that they were in there.
