I live in LA, but have never been to NY...anyone been to or lived in both cities?  Which do u prefer?

I have visited both, but never officially lived in either.  I did spend about 3 months in LA one year.

I'd have to say, if I preferred one, it would by NY.  There is something about the age of the city, buildings and overall atmophere / vibe that was more appealing to me.

I would definetely prefer New York over Los Angeles. Los Angeles is pretty congested and full of rude people, not to say that New York isn't, but it is at the very least full of things to look at and do. Sorry, but Hollywood is so freakin' over-hyped and boring.

i live in LA...but the thought of living in NYC has always gotten me excited....i love the place...and i love it if we get to move there

Ive never been to either, but if I had to choose i'd pick NY. All the city lights, and shows they have would really be a fun thing. Plus Im not into the whole LA Hollywood stuff. NY just seems like it would be more fun!!

OK  Never lived in nor visited LA  but met some awesome peeps FROM there  and know awesome peeps there now ... Been to NY  lived in STATE not City  breifly  Some GREAT peeps there also, tho my intro to NYC  was cops stopping me from leaving terminal w my babies when I went in search of food ... They watched my bbabies , luggage and ME  as I purchased  some sandwhiches  but DIRE warnings of danger of city at nite ... Kudos to Police officers NYCPD
