Okay here is my question and Story I had my first child when I was 16 long labor  and an 8lb 15oz boy lol and they thought I couldnt have anymore Had my second when I was 18 problem pregnancy but all in all a health 8lb 1oz boy lol after my second one about 2 years later i had an Etopic pregnancy I was in the hospiyal for 2 weeks and had to get my left tube and removed and the doc said it only happens in about 3% of women and that it schould not happen agian ......Well about a year later I had another one...what are the odds......This time i was lucky and I was only 4 weeks into pregnancy last on i was at 9 weeks and one more week my tub would exploded......thats they way i put it and could have died....but with the second one i was able to take methrotrexate Im not sure if that how you spell it but it besically takes the fetus and makes it into tissue agian....and im sorry if that was a little to graphic....I kno im a little of course but i figure i had to explain before I asked my question....And here they are Has anyone on here has an etopic pregnancy??? Have you been able to have another child since you have had one???? Have you had two just like me or am I am odd ball??? I would really love to have another child but dont want to kill myself in the process. It makes me so sad seeing my sister and friends pop out all theese babies and i kno I shouldnt and alot of people say well you have two what do you need more for and my answer to that is I dont kow why i want more i just do I guess i love the crying and whining dirty diapers and seeing them walk and talk for the first time so any feed back would be great im just tired of feeling like im the only one out there.

i havent had an ectopic pregnancy but if you really want to have another child and there is a significant risk then you should look into adopting there are so many beautiful and wonderful children out there just waiting for their mommy and/or daddy waiting for them. having a baby is a beautiful thing but being a mother is even more beautiful and it doesnt have to be your blood to be a mother.

my sister had an etopic pg...her tube did ruppture and she lived. she also had more then you want to know miscarriages...

she went on to having a daughter after many many trys

Witout knowing exactly what tyoe of surgeries you have had, from what you have described you still have one tube intact.  Therefore you should be able to have more children.

I had one ovary and tube removed due to other issues. I did have an ectopic pregnancy in my remaining tube and was treated with methotrexate (as you were).  I did go on to have another pregnancy after that.

My mom had an ectopic pg and her tube ruptured.  (She did have severe internal bleeding, but they caught it just in time.)  But she did have one tube intact and she did have my sister a few years later.  I am not aware of any miscarriages in between, and I know that my sister was a bit of a surprise, so it didn't appear to be too much of a problem for her.  So, it should still be possible, but you might want to talk with your ob.

And if you are not able to have another, there is still adoption, like Mary said.  That can also be a wonderful thing.
