My cycle is regular, like clockwork. How do I know if I am even ovulating or if I am just regular without ovulating? We used those ovulation test stick things for a while, but we still did not end up getting pregnant (wasting our money). After this month if we are not pregnant, I am going to call my doctor and see what he can do. Who has taken Clomid and been successful? When you took it did you end up having multiples or just one? How long were you taking it before you were successful?

Hopefully someone here will have personal experience to share. I have had a friend who used Clomid for two of her pregnancies. She only had one child each time. She was very happy with the drug and it helped her tremendously. They did make her wait until she had been actively trying to get pregnant for a year before her doctor would prescribe it though.

Even if you aren't pregnant, keep trying if that is what you want to do, and its fun too.......LOL. I always know when I am ovulating, there is a jelly substance that comes out of me when I go to the bathroom. I don't know if everyone has this, but I thought I would put my 2 cents in. Good Luck. Stop and look how miraculous God is by the colors of the season.

Well after having our first child we tryed for 1 yr, with no results. I did go to the Dr and found out that I don't ovulate anymore. So we started on Clomid. I took for 6 months still with no results. I then had a procedure done, not sure what it was called but it checked to see if my tubes were blocked and cleaned them out. With in I think a week or two I was pregnant. I am currently pregnant with #2 and there is only 1. My Dr told me there was only a 20% chance of multiples.

I know you desperately want another but ultimatyely the best thing you can do do is stop trying!!!! RelAX and let nature take its course , as all studies show thats best way to get pg !!! Lots of good suggestions here, and mostly I can tell you that only times I EVER got PG was when it was what Id have called Bad Timing at times it occured tho really was just that I WASNT TRYING at those times hehheh So Smile and do yourself a great big favour and love your hubby because you want to and the baby you have and let it go , and just TRUST GOD at least for awhile .... Focus on other things or you will stay in such a dissappointed stressed out state your body will be unable to produceIll be praying Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things Jesus loves the little children !!! HES GOT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD IN HIS HANDS !!!

I totally agree with Antygamma. Take a couple months and just relax & dont think about it so much and try not to sress out over it. If you still arent pregnant, then go and see what your Dr says.

When I was trying to get PG I was not ovulating and did take Clomid to get PG. I was on it for 3 moths and got PG with TWINS!!!! I am not sure if it was the meds or the strong family history of having twins. But my Dr had me take my temp every day with a basle themomiter you can get them at WalMart for like $8.00. It will help you find out if you are ovulating and it is alot cheaper then the kits. It has all the directions in the package. But all you do it first thing in the morning befor you do anything (I mean anything not even talk or move much) you take your oral temp and write it on the chart that they provide for you (I made copyies so I never ran out and enlarged it so I could see it better) and your temp will spike when you ovulate by about 1-2 degrees. My Dr also told me and my hubby to have sex every other day from day the week you ovulate so he will not be to low on supply.

She had her tubes checked to see if they were blocked (they weren't) and her doctor prescribed Clomid. The only side effect she had with it were intense hot flashes. She took it but did not end up getting pregnant, but after she got off of it, she did get pregnant several months later and now has a healthy little boy. I don't have a lot of medical knowledge, but I wonder if she wasn't ovulating before, and the Clomid helped her to start? If you have been trying to get pregnant for that long, it might be one more thing that you could try.

The best thing is to relax and let it happen. Something I have to tell myself too!

Try the ovulation calculator on BabyCenter.com The funny thing about getting pregnant is that the chance window is so small (48 hours to be exact) that I find it humorous when people have an "oops" pregnancy. I personally am not that lucky. But if you know when you ovulate your chances are going to be better to conceive. If you are having questions and concerns though, you should probably go and see your physician.

I think what is best is for everyone just to relax. Enjoy the act of getting pregnant. My husband and I were tryin to get preg with my son and it took us a year. The night I got pregnant we were having a few drinks and watching a good movie *wink* Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

i agree with you BUT...it is much easier said than done. i too got pregnant on our wedding night while we were in nicaragua on vacation after trying for seven months..but then had a miscarriage at week 11. so i think that while "trying to relax" is a great thing to strive for..its always on my mind on some level or another. div.fetish object, div.fetish embed {width:266px;height:117px;visibility:visible;z-index:5;}div.fetish div.fetishButton {display:block;position:relative;top:-35px;z-index:6;text-align:center;}div.fetish div.fetishButton img {border-style:none;border-width:0px;} |
