What was your favorite school subject when you were a student? Math, science, English -- P.E. or recess (ha ha ha).

Does your child(ren) share yours as their favorite subject as well? Or, do they have a different one? If different, what is it?

I loved english & math, but not reading.  My 4th grader is the same.  My son is likes math, and my kindergartner LOVES reading - she is already testing into 2nd grade level in it!

My favorite subjects changed a bit, a lot depended on the teacher I had and his/her ability to teach the subject.  Overall, I loved the sciences, english, and history.  Math was challenging for me at time; however, when I had a really good teacher that understood how to explain the logic to me, I really enjoyed the subject.

My favorite subject was Math, but it didn't like me for some reason.  I struggled with it for a few years.  I was never a big fan of Science, but I always did so good in it. Everything in Science seemed to make sense.  So far, all my children really enjoy school.  YEAH!    :0)

So we are asking favorite subject.....I would have to say my Writing class...I write poetry...

My oldest had a studder issue so he reads a lot now.....and he is growing to love poetry also.  But mostly he loves science.....

My least favorite was P.E.  I have to tell you that my Freshman year of Gym...I failed and I had to do Summer school for P.E. just me and the teacher......it was horrible........I was active in field hockey and cheerleading...even Track....but I was very stubborn and I did not want to take orders from my P.E. teacher......so lesson learned and that did not happen again....

My favorite subject was English mostly the writing part of it. But my daughter loves for me to read to her. I could never finish a book unless I had to. Now all I have time for is children books.

Amazing how being mom changes you.

My favorite was art.  Makes me sad that it's disappearing out of so many school curriculums now.

I like English and hate math. DD is just on the opposite. She loves math. I think she’s always good at math. Recently, I found an interesting website beestar by accident and signed her up for the math programs. She loves to compete with other kids from other states on beestar. When her name appears on the honor roll, she is always very very happy.Laughing
