The way they do business. High pressure sales irritate the heck out of me. I can totally understand that! High pressure sales irritate me as well. I was curious why you felt that way about the company. We didn't have that experience with Melaleuca. My hubby and I were never put under any pressure. We signed up through some friends/neighbors when the company was running a special. To sign up only cost a $1.00 and we received $100.00 in free products ($20 every month for the first 5 months). Hubby and I figured we would try it. We were initially asked if we wanted to join the "Team", which we immediately declined. I am not interested in doing sales at all. Been there-done that-not going to do it again. At any rate, we were really quite happy with their products. I just had to cancel our membership because money is tight right now and when we signed up we agreed to purchase so many points per month. Since each item is given a point value, we were spending at least $75.00 a month. I will really miss their Blemish Control Products, Nicole Miller Line of Cosmetics, and their nutrional bars. The Zap It! Line worked wonders for my daughter and myself and was less expensive than Proactiv. They had some tasty nutritional bars as well. The only downside there...they were delivered to my doorstep and left to melt in our AZ heat. That I wasn't happy about, especially since I was home all day. I guess I will consider myself lucky that I wasn't pressured to sell the products. I really liked all the items that we purchased. Thanks. Less is BEST!

http://www.dhfs.state.wi.us/eh/MosquitoContro ... Not sure if any of this will help. I just was surfing around and found these articles interesting. I really wish my girlfriend had made her daughter and my daughter put on bug repellent before she let them sleep outside. My eldest daughter's face and arms were covered with over 20 bites. She was miserable for almost a week. Some of the bites are healing nicely, while others look like they might scar. She hasn't been scratching them, just keeping them covered with neosporin and bandaids. Good luck! Less is BEST!

So does she had if or not? Are the down-playing it because that is what would be best for her earning potential? or is she really not as sick as her Dad originally stated? http://phoenix.cox.net/cci/entertainmentnews/ ... Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 5 months ago I have been reading articles that state since the price of gas is increasing so will the cost of food. Of course, this totally makes sense, but will the increase be slowly over time? or is it going to hit all of a sudden? I have been asking myself this question and making a conscious effort to compare prices on items I purchase weekly. A few items have gone up several cents over the past several weeks. My son's favorite cereal is now .35 cents more per box. Not such a big deal and for health reasons I can not buy something different. The bread that we love has stayed the same and the soy milk that I buy has actually been a little cheaper. Obviously, fresh produce has gone up, but nothing that seems ridiculous. So there is totally a point to this post...I'll start at the beginning....I was without my car since hubby took it to the shop. He was out and about and I asked him to get dog food. He never runs errands for me, but since I didn't have a car he agreed to pick some up. Our dog can only eat one type of food. Whenever we have tried to change her food (to a better brand) she has always gotten really sick. So much for us wanting her to eat something healthy without all the by products. The vet bills cost and arm and a leg and so we continue to give her the generic dog food she loves. Imagine, my total utter shock that the bag of dog food has gone up $5.00! What?! The price has been almost the same over the last 5 years we have been buying it. I thought for sure hubby was looking at the wrong brand. In less than one month the generic, by product, completely unhealthy dog food has gone up 5 stinking dollars! Of course the dog has to eat, but c'mon! If this is just the start of what is to come, gas prices already on the rise with the possiblity of rising even higher, we won't be able to feed ourselves much less our dog. Anybody else noticing big changes like this? Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 5 months ago I can only imagine how much more food will increase. It is really scary to think about. If dog food rises $5.00 in less than a month, we are in trouble. Sadly, growing my own food is not an option.

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 5 months ago This was hysterical! I actually copied and pasted it to an e-mail and sent it out to my girlfriends and to my hubby. He actually came home from work the other night and asked me this exact question! I wanted to ring his neck!!! Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 5 months ago I happened upon it one day when there was nothing else on. I didn't like it. Maybe the day I watched was just a bad episode, but I found Kate rude and insulting, especially towards her husband.

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 5 months ago I didn't actually take the poll. I have had 3 C-sections total...2 were not by choice and one was by choice. Baby #4 was pre-planned as a C-section to save me from anymore major complications. Welcome to my world! After almost 6 years I still have numbness and occasional pain. I have had tons of tests done because it was thought that I had a hernia. Nope, just scar tissue from one of my many C-sections. With each new surgery, they actually cut out the old scar, so I only have one scar. I can do sit-ups everyday for years or until I throw-up and I will still have the pooch above the scar. My doctor said that won't go away. Sorry to be so blunt. Just try and remember to look at the bright side, you have a beautiful son!
