RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 7 months ago Only if my hubby was out of town for the full week would this work at my house. My kids have no problem when I tell them to turn the television off pending they weren't right in the middle of watching their favorite show, but my hubby would have heart failure. Should I think to just tell him they were all broken, he would be rushing out to replace each and every tv...all 8.

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 7 months ago Great article! I love clean myself, however, I believe I have mastered Illusion quite nicely in the closets and kitchen cabinets. My children's rooms are almost always clean (they don't have toys in their rooms for the most part, so it is easy to make it look neat) and beds made, it is our daily rountine. As far as my room is concerned, last person out of bed is responsible for making the bed. I get up earlier than hubby everyday except Sunday, so he makes the bed now. Love it! Otherwise, we practically jump out of bed in a competition to make sure we are not last, quite funny to see and some minor injuries have resulted. LOL! Hubby helps with the laundry if he has to have something specific clean. We hang the majority of our laundry up right out of the dryer, and he will go as far as to fold everything that is left and leave it neatly in the dryer....we make our children put their own clothes away. Refrigerator and pantry are usually organized, I really like it that way. Each shelf is for specific food...makes it really easy to see what we are out of and what we have to eat. Things did seem easier to keep clean when I was home all the time. It seemed that everyday I had the time to clean or organize one ot two things and keep up with the constant flow of laundry. I will be joining the SAHM work force again shortly and I am looking forward to being at home again. I loved my job and my boss, so as sad as I am going to be that it is coming to an end, I will be happy to dedicate my time to my family again. :0) Less is BEST! | |
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 7 months ago My youngest son is going on a field trip to the zoo this week. He is really excited! I wonder if the zoo staff will mention the aquarium to the kids?...I plan on giving him a disposable camera so he can take pictures of everything he sees there. Then I can scrapbook his "Zoo Adventures" for him to enjoy for years to come.

I don't do it as a normal practive, but that doesn't mean I would never do it. There have been times in past where I have and I'm sure there will be times in the future where I will...
Well stated! :0)
