I have had 3 c-sections and 1 oral surgery.  I need to have some scar tissue removed from my abdomen, but I am not in any hurry to have that surgery done. I am so so scared.

My hubby has had several surgeries, two on his shoulder, one on his hand, and an appendix.  That's all I can remember now.

My eldest daughter and youngest son haven't had an surgeries to date. Thank goodness.

My eldest son has had 3 eye surgeries, one crainiotomy, 4 shunt revisions, 2 port-a-caths, and a couple others that aren't coming to mind right now.

Youngest daughter had her tonsils out.

Wow!  When written down, we have had alot of surgeries amongst us.  I never realized....

We have been to the ER more times than I can count...I can't even list all the things we have been there for, but almost everyone in this house has been there at one time or another.

I love our pediatrician, he is however, very far away from our home, so Urgent Care or the ER win sometimes just because they are closer.

Absolutely great advice!  While I don't have a child that is SSP, I can see how some of these suggestions would work for just regular everyday stuff.

It appears that I will also will be driving the Dodge.  Yeah!  We are really excited over here. 

I've faxed in my paperwork and forms, so if all works out I will get the car next Wednesday.  It should be great!

I don't think that you have to have a BIG birthday party for every birthday, nor one that consists of all of her friends.  We don't usually do that over here.  Not because we don't want our children to feel special, but because it is just not affordable.  I would much rather give them a nice present, bake them a cake, and let them pick out their birthday dinner.

We always try and make the birthday person feel special, but a party doesn't have to be part of that.  Especially when attitude is being given.  I don't blame you for wanting to cancel.  Sometimes our children just don't appreciate how great their lives are.  They should be thankful for what they have, but instead they are always wishing/expecting/demanding more.  I wish you all the best...whatever you decide to do.

When hubby and I first got married, I did do most of the cleaning.  Still today, I do the majority of the inside cleaning.  If I ask for help, he will help, might not be happy about it, but will still help.

I have devised a plan for Thanksgiving.  Now that I am working, my free time is very limited.  I have suggested that on Thursday morning, each and every person in this house can help out by taking on a chore to get ready for the housefull we are going to have.

Cross your fingers for me!  I hope my plan works.
