I have so many options...either I am going to a party in a little black dress, getting ready to go to a burlesque show, or I am going international.

Wow!  What a day?! LOL! :0)

I must have missed that part.  I guess that means I am going to a party in a little black dress! LOL! :0)

So I had so much fun going to my party in my little black dress, that I had to know what the rest of my family has been doing...

DH goes clubbing.

Eldest DD goes awry.

Eldest DS goes western.

Youngest DS goes to the darkside. (Ummm, this one is funny...his favorite movie/game/book is anything Star Wars.  I was laughing when I saw this one!)

Youngest DD goes on rebuttal.

I think I might have had more fun than any of them! LOL! :0)

This is really sad.  Even more sad,  the fact that her brothers thought she was dead all that time.  What happened to her parents?  Was she mentally handicapped?  These are just a few things that came to mind after reading that she had been institutionalized.  Not only did the system fail her, but it seems her family failed her as well.  Of course, one must remember that it is an article and some of the information might not be correct....

Thankfully she has been "found" and after she recovers from her stroke,  maybe she can enjoy what life she has left.

My hubby is in absolute heaven today.  Last night, a friend of his, gave him 2 tickets to today's Cardinals/Steelers game!  He is soooo excited!

LET'S GO STEELERS... LET'S GO!!!

So for today, they can be my team too. LOL! :0)

All of my children have chores.  They range in age from 5-15 years old, and their chores are age appropriate.  Some chores are done on a daily basis, and no money exchanges hands.  Other chores have a $ value, only if they are done without complaining.  This was a big lesson the first time one of them complained and while the others were being paid, they didn't recieve any money, and they still had to complete the chore.  Lesson learned! :0)

They are really pretty good about helping out around the house with extra chores, even when they don't get paid.  We play games sometimes to make them fun.  Hopefully I am teaching them how to take care of themselves as they get older.

The thing is we are not that well off. DH makes enough but, we do struggle sometimes.

My problem is I have a mental health disorder and I also have Fibromyalgia. It gets me sick and down sometimes. I kinda feel guilty even thinking about having another but, then I see other Mommies who have more than 3 and they seem so happy. I know it's not easy to be a Mommy. But, it's the best thing that has EVER happened to me. (sigh)

Love doesn't cost a thing.  However, I noticed that nobody mentioned your health problems, and that can be concerning.  I know somebody who has fibromyalgia, and in my opinion her children have suffered a great deal because of it.  I don't know you personally, or how you deal with your children, so I am just going by my own experience with my friend.  There were times that the pain was so bad that she was unable to care for her children without help (I was her help).  I loved her dearly and it broke my heart to watch her struggle.  There are people that have a house full of children and they handle it with ease, and others that struggle, even without a mental health disorder or Fibromyalgia.

Just curious...have you spoken to your doctor?

Wishing you and your family the best always....whatever you decide.  :0)

No kidding Keri!  Hubby is convinced he was their bad luck! LOL!  It is the first time in his life that he has ever seen them play in person.  He loved the game, but was disappointed at the loss.

Our pool keys were lost for the entire summer.  Hubby insisted that I had them last, but I knew that the kids were playing with the whistle key chain that held both of the pool keys.  BTW...who puts both pool keys on the same keychain?!  Not to smart! LOL!  Anyway, we had to borrow a key from our neighbor and just a few weeks ago my youngest daughter came in the house from the garage with ...you'll never guess what....the keys!  They were in one of her ride on toys in the garage.  I am guessing...she put them there!

Our neighbor was just as excited to get her key back! LOL!  :0)

I am currently trying to get my youngest daughter to stop sucking her two middle fingers.  She only does it when she is tired, either in the car or at bed time.  I tell her not to put her fingers in her mouth when she is awake, but pulling them out when she is sleeping does absolutely no good.  They are like on a rubber band or something....as soon as you pull them out, they snap right back in! LOL!

Anyway, she is 5 right now.  My boys, neither one of them, ever sucked on their fingers.  However, my eldest daughter sucked her thumb until she was twelve.  We tried everything and nothing worked as a permanent measure until the orthodontist told her he was going to put a metal bracket on the roof of her mouth if she didn't stop sucking her thumb while wearing her braces.  I think he scared her so bad that she just stopped cold turkey.

Wish I would have thought of it sooner.

Best wishes!  :0)

Funny!  LOL!  I swear that the laundry multiplies itself around here and that my washing machine eats socks. I have a basket on top of my dryer for all the socks that don't have partners.  After a while...I just throw them away.  Time to buy new!  :0)
