So this morning I was walking with my neighbor and my dog.  We walk every morning at 5:30am.  Occasionally we see other neighbors walking by themselves, or walking their dogs.  My dog does ok when it comes to seeing other dogs unless the start lunging for her and barking then she tends to get aggresive.  She is VERY BIG, but thinks she is a lap dog when she is at home with us.

As we were heading down the final stretch of our walk, my neighbor and I could see a very large dog jumping on the gate.  We both looked at each other, so thankful that the dog was behind the fence.  No sooner did we get a few feet from that house, I looked behind me to see that dog (a rottie) running after us.  I was so SCARED!  I was trying to protect my dog and SCREAMING at the top of my lungs (I still have a sore throat).  The other dog continued to follow me and was all over me and my dog all the way back to my home (just a couple blocks away).

I am much calmer now, and my beautiful dog did so well.  I was so proud of how she listened to me. I now see why people see my dog and run the other way.  Even though this dog didn't seem overly aggresive, just the site of her terrified me.  I knew which house that the dog came from and went back.  Their neighbors are friends of mine.  They called several times and the woman there finally let her dog back inside the house.  My main concern was the bus stop right outside in front of their home, and the countless amount of children that haven't learned to not pet strange dogs.

All is well, and I am fine and so is my dog and neighbor...but I think we will skip that street in our neighborhood. :0)

Well, since you all can do it without your foot changing directions, I must be the SPECIAL one! LOL!Laughing

I played a variety of instruments when I was a kid.  The clarinet, the flute and the piano.  I also was in choir for several years.  I love music.Smile

My thoughts and prayers are with this family.  I just happened upon an article from the archives...Deja passed at the end of July and has lost her battle with brain cancer.

It is yet another reminder of how precious life is and how we should appreciate every minute of every day.

You just might have an early walker on your hands!  Both of my first two children walked at 10 months.  The last two...well, I didn't encourage it that's for sure!  They get around so much quicker that way and could reach more stuff.

Best Wishes. :0)

Since the poll didn't have an option for a 3rd cart, I picked the one that most resembles my shopping experience.  I try and only grocery shop every other week (pay day) so I require 3 carts.  My eldest daughter comes with me and I push cart #1 and pull cart #2, and she pushes cart #2 (inbetween us) and pulls cart #3.  It is quite comical!Laughing

Anyway, the kiddos are now in school, so now I will be doing the shopping a little more often without any kids in tow.  I haven't taken all of my kids to the store in a couple of years.  It cost less money that way!Smile

My thoughts...unprotected sex leads to pregnancy.  If you don't want to have children, protect yourself or practice abstinence.

Along those lines, I had a friend that used fertility drugs to get pregnant.  It was a really long road for them and they were so excited to find out that they were expecting...except not when they found out it was 3 babies.  Medically, they had one of the pregnancies terminated as they thought they would be able to better handle twins.  I personally found this to be selfish, but to each their own.

My eldest son and I love cereal for breakfast.  Every morning he has Kashi Go Lean, unsweetened soy milk, and a banana.  I enjoy the Kashi cereal or oatmeal.  Lately it has been too hot out for hot cereal in the morning.

My eldest daughter typically has a granola bar or maybe a poptart, it has to be something fast...she is lactose intolerant as well as my eldest son and my hubby and although I can sneak in soy milk in prepared meals, I just can't get her to put it in cereal.

My youngest son is not a fan of cereal. He is strictly a pop tart kind of kid.  My youngest daughter really likes the organic Clifford Crunch or bagels with cream cheese...that is her new favorite.

When I have extra time in the morning, I make waffles...the frozen kind of course, but the kids love them!Smile

Oh, I almost forgot...peanut butter toast!  This is another favorite, and when dad is home he makes it for the kids.  That is one of his favorite breakfasts.

The funny thing about getting pregnant is that the chance window is so small (48 hours to be exact) that I find it humorous when people have an "oops" pregnancy.  I personally am not that lucky.  But if you know when you ovulate your chances are going to be better to conceive.

I guess I never realized that it was so hard for so many people to become pregnant.  I also didn't realize that your chance of actually getting pregnant is such a small window of opportunity. I don't know when I ovulate and I am always forgetting to make note of when my next cycle is about to start.

I did not plan any of my pregnancies.  I didn't start taking birth control until the month before I got married.  I ended up pregnant 8 months later while still on birth control (the pill).  I didn't take the pill after baby #1 because a higher dose made me so sick. Every prenancy after that was an "oops".  We practiced different methods of birth control, just not the pill and none of them worked for us. Now, I have gotten my tubes tied.

I just can't imagine how frustrated you must be and how heart broken you must feel at each month's end when you are not pregnant.  I will send happy fertile thoughts your way....

BTW...did you talk to your doctor about clomid?
