I enjoy reading.  I just bought the book The Secret.  I haven't started it yet, but now that the kids are in school I might actually get the time.

All of my children really enjoy reading as well.  We went to the school library over the summer and picked up books to read.  I really enjoy story time at night.

I have seen the advertisements on television.  They look like alot of fun.  It also wouldn't ever fit into our budget.

My parents went on a Carribean cruise once, and really enjoyed themselves.  My Mom went with her cousin on a seperate cruise fairly recently and they enjoyed themselves tremendously.  My Aunt lives in Florida, and takes cruises several times a year. 

 I say...if you can afford it, go for it!

I think that all children learn at a different rate.  My eldest daughter was writing her name after the first week of preschool shortly after she turned 4.  Both of my boys, if memory serves me correctly, were writing their names in kindergarten with great ease.  My youngest has been the quickest to pick it up, probably because she has so many role models and was writing her name when she was 3 years old. 

Teaching tools are great resources and can help give us as parents fun and interesting ways of teaching our children so that they are still having fun while learning.

Another recall.  Seems like there are new ones everyday.  I still have my youngest in a forward facing 5 point harness for safety.  I just ran out to the car to see which brand car seat I have in my car.  Thankfully it isn't a Graco.

Less is BEST!

Well, technically my hubby has two favorite teams...The Steelers and whichever team is playing the Dallas Cowboys.   Don't ask me what he has got against the Cowboys, because I have no idea.  I typically don't watch unless we are going somewhere and the game is on. Besides I am usually talking to the other wives. LOL!

The Cowboy Cheerleaders are so fun to watch.  Besides being beautiful and scantly dressed, I just like them. :0)

Funny thing, years ago we were given tickets to see the Cardinals and the Cowboys play.  I am not into football, but I was so excited to see the Cowboy Cheerleaders that I agreed to go with my hubby to the game.  No one told me that the Cheerleaders don't go to the away games!  I was so disappointed.

I actually went up to a Daisy Mountain Fire Department, and had one of the firefighters that was trained in car seat installation, show me the proper way to install my car seats.  At that time 3 of our children were in seats and I found his information so helpful.  He even pointed out some features that my car had that helped me install my car seats better.

It was well worth the call and the drive to the firehouse to make sure my kids' seats were installed correctly.

Besides that, nothing frustrates me more than seeing children not restrained while in a vehicle.  Our entire family was out and about on one of the freeways, when we saw a woman letting her kids jump all around inside the car.  She was belted in!  Unbelievable! The speed on the freeway was 65 miles per hour.  Dangerous, so dangerous...

Oh how sad...I didn't realize that they weren't wearing seatbelts. 

There is a number that is good to know!  I will have to put it in my car.

Well,  in my opinion your mother needs to get some help.  Family counseling would also be my suggestion and it may help tremendously.

There is a saying...once a cheater always a cheater...I believe this to be true for other things as well.  I wouldn't want my children around him and your mom should care more for herself and her family.

Just my opinion...

I wish you and your family the best during this difficult time.  In the end, family is all that we have and if we can't stick together through the hard times, who will be there for us?  Just a thought...
