RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago This is just my opinion, so please take it as only that.... If it were me, I would be upset, I wouldn't have called my Mom a name, but sometimes when we are angry we let our emotions get the best of us. On the other hand, my Mom would have also been watching my child like a hawk, so the situation would not have occured. It does seem like he wasn't being watched well enough. I don't believe that you should have been made to clean up the mess as they were responsible for watching him at the time the incident happened. Also, why would you want to leave a mess of that nature in the bathroom for that amount of time. Kids will be kids, and at the age your son is currently at, they do things without realizing what they are doing. They are naturally curious. Hopefully you will be able to get this resolved to everyones liking and mend any hurt feelings. Don't deprive your parents of seeing their grandson, but I would think twice about leaving him there for extended periods of time. Best wishes. Less is BEST!

I personally don't have a problem with my youngest daughter not wearing a shirt around the house (she is 4). I wouldn't however, let her out in public without appropriate clothing, and never at the grocery store. Just my 2 cents... Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago We used Hylands Teething Tablets. I found them at the health food store and they disolve in the mouth instantly. They worked fairly well. Best Wishes to both of you on your pains! Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago Maybe you should talk to him and tell him how that made you feel. This is one of those hard situations where men don't always realize that they can hurt our feelings without really intending to. I used to just keep my feelings all bottled up inside, and my hubby would wonder what was wrong. I find it is just easier to let him know how I am feeling, even if he didn't ask. My hubby isn't the most sensitive when it comes to my feelings. Just a thought... Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago So here goes my story.... Baby #1...overdue...38 hours labor...vaginal delivery with minor complications...issues resolved when she was about 9 months. I can't believe I actually had more children after this one. Baby #2...overdue...in no pain at all...had 12 hours of hard labor with pitocin and had no change. Baby was in distress, c-section performed. I was elated that this baby was a boy so my hubby would stop telling people we were having more children. He wanted a boy really really bad! Baby #3...was going to try to have a vaginal delivery again. Doctor keeping a close eye on my pregnancy due to extreme stress over the illness of my 2nd child. My water broke 6 weeks early and I was hospitalized while the doctor decided what she wanted to do. Turned out I had an infection, I was rushed into the operating room, almost cut open before I was put to sleep and my baby was taken. EEK! All went well and baby had a few difficulties the first few weeks. I recovered much quicker from this c-section. Baby #4...planned a c-section first thing! Went into labor several times due to stress, but medication stopped the process. C-section went soooo smoothly it almost made me want to have more children. Who knew it could be such a piece of cake when it wasn't an emergency?! Much better memories! And that is it! The End! Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I had my tubes tied after baby #4. I just couldn't get hubby to get the snip despite making him several appointments after baby #2. Thank goodness he is such a chicken or I wouldn't have been blessed with my last two babies. I had mine tied with my c-section, and it was a bit uncomfortable in comparison to my other c-sections. I am not sure about just the regular surgery. I was also told that it is not 100% when it comes to preventing pregnancy. At this point, if I become pregnant, it is hubby's turn! I have done my part!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago Here's my list...
1. Peanut Butter (It can be eaten on a spoon, with bread, on crackers and with apples or celery...YUM!) 2. Coffee (Lately my eyes refuse to open without it.) 3. Paper Towel (It serves many purposes, but I do happen to clean alot) 4. Laundry Detergent (I do laundry EVERYDAY...this one is a must have) 5. Bottled water (Between the peanut butter and the water we would be set...we wouldn't starve and we would be hydrated) Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I have had many diaper bags over the years. My favorite one was a gift given to me for my 3rd baby. It was a backpack style bag with many compartments for diapers, wipes, clothing, and pockets for bottles and anything else you can think of to bring with you when you leave your house with an infant. I liked it for many reasons, the multiple compartments, the removable changing pad, outside pockets, insulated removable bag, and the list goes on and on. I still use this bag and it is kept in the back of my car with snacks, changes of clothing for all my kids and medication/first aide kit. I loved that I was able to wear it to keep may hands free. It was purchased at Babies R Us, and that was over 7 years ago and is still being used. It was very well made and extremely durable. Good Luck! Less is BEST!
