My answer to my eldest DD request for a MySpace page was NO.  It will continue to be NO.  I have seen what is on the site and have witnessed what my neighbor's went through with their son and his MySpace page.  He is in the same grade, at the same school, with the same people as my daughter.

I wasn't impressed.

This is of course just my 2 cents, and my opinion might not be right for everyone, but it is the right decision for my family at this point.Smile

Just a thought, but have you talked to your Doctor about this?  Does he/she say that the swelling is normal?  I was just wondering, as I myself have had 3 c-sections, and I did not encounter any swelling as a result.  It seems as if you are doing all the right things with drinking fluids and putting your feet up.  I am not trying to alarm you, just wondering...

Someone pinch me! Smile My DH had to go to the Doctor this morning after work.  He got home around 9 a.m. and decided to make himself something to eat before he went to bed.  I went out to the kitchen and there was dishes/crumbs/cups on every counter.  He had fed the kids a snack...  I am getting to my point, where I will require that pinch...so I decide to come back to the computer room to my MT and just let it go.  I check my messages and a few minutes later go back to the kitchen to see my DH cleaning the counters!  WHAT?! Surprised I haven't even started my English 101 yet!!! This can't be right!  The man that left me a full sink of dishes last night not only cleaned up his breakfast dishes, fed my kiddos a snack, and then cleaned up EVERYONE'S mess!

He truly is sick!Laughing

I just about fell over and was in need of reviving!  I gave him a BIG kiss and a BIG "Thank you"!  Maybe that will prompt further cleaning up when he is actually feeling better.  One can only hope....Wink

I really love my name!  I was named after both of my Grandmothers.  I do wish that my first name wasn't two words, and I always wanted a middle name.  I guess my parents thought since my first name was already two words, that I didn't need a middle name.  When it was time for Confirmation, I just chose my first name again.  Boy, that was a mouthful!Wink

I would choose...

 C. Europe. Culture, culture, culture. Go to Rome, Italy, France, London and more.

I would take my entire family!  We would have the opportunity to learn about our heritage.  It would be wonderful!Smile

My Mom has the greenest thumb.  I however, did not inherit this gene from her.  I do take pride in my yard, so I like the plants trimmed and the grass mowed and weed eaten, but other than that....I do have one plant in my house.  I have managed to keep it alive for 3 years.  When I see it starting to droop, I water it and talk to "her" (for some reason, I have in my mind that "she" will perk up!Laughing).  It seems to be working!

I am just going to stick with this one plant.  My children are doing fine, so I appear to be able to take care of living things, just not of the green variety!Wink

We used to have Game Night with our neighbors once a week.  Then DH's schedule changed and he had two shifts to work on Friday's, so we had to stop.  One of the couples was very competitive and would insult his wife when they were not winning.  I didn't enjoy playing when they participated.  I have been trying to teach my children that we are all winners.  Being a good sport, spending time together, and playing games as opposed to watching television or being on the computer should count for something.  It is bonding time and we all have been enjoying the time we spend together.Smile

I remember potty training well!Smile  It was harder with my first child than it was with any of my other children.  I learned from my mistakes, and did not repeat them!  There was quite honestly nothing funnier than a 215 lb. pregnant woman trying to "use" the child's potty chair so that she would understand where she was supposed to go potty! UGH!  Once I got down, it wasn't so easy to get back up.Embarassed  I really remember needing alot of patience and using alot of praise.  Those two things made it so much easier.

 Best Wishes!Smile

I was always taught growing up if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.  She did the crime, now she needs to do the time.

 Absolutely!  Well stated!Smile

As I have stated before, I believe that having her come to AZ to serve her time in Tent City when it is a 120 degrees outside would have been a bigger lesson learned than having a private cell in the special unit of the prison.  She should just do her time and straighten out her "act", playing dumb or not.  Where are all the positive stories about Good Samaritans that should be on our airways.  A good human interest story is always nice to see.Smile

Thank you for posting this story.  I had not read about Kaleb and his story is so sad.  We will be sure to keep Kaleb and his family in our prayers.

This actually was a fairly easy question for me.  If the choice is between which set of Grandparents we feel would be responsible enough to watch all of our children, I would have to say either set is a perfect choice.  We only leave our children with either DH's parents or my parents, or we just don't go anywhere.  DH's parents might let the kids get a little crazy, but they take good care of them and know exactly what needs to be done with eldest DS's routine.  Eldest DD is a huge help as well, so she makes sure that medications are taken and that bedtimes are followed. We don't get out often, but when DH's parents come in town from out of the country, they always come to babysit for one of the nights so that my hubby and I can get out for dinner and a movie.  We always appreciate that!Smile
