RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I am sending my DH on a vacation to visit his Dad for Father's Day. The two of them will do some fishing and have some great Father and Son time. It gives my DH a break from work and it gives me a break from DH! LOL! I am also thinking about getting him a shop vac for the garage. He is always borrowing the neighbor's, and it would be nice to have our own. He does alot of car shows with his Scion, and having a vac he could use out in the garage would be better than him continuously using my Dyson. I LOVE that thing! Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I have always felt that my home was inviting, comfortable, and simple. I take pride in making sure it is clean and picked up. We still have dust, but who doesn't?! We spend alot of time at home so it is well lived in. There is no room that is not used. Even the closet under the stairs has been turned into the kids playroom! I have an open door policy. Guests are WELCOME anytime, no invitation required....ever! I love knowing that people feel comfortable enough to drop by anytime to say "Hello" and visit with us. She likes having her hair done, even if it is just a simple clip. This however, doesn't mean she won't get dirty! She loves to play outside, and never worries about getting her clothes dirty. Thank Goodness for stain remover! My eldest DD is 15. She just finished her first year of HS. Wow! I think I just made myself really really old!
I am watching my girls grow up into beautiful young ladies. I LOVE it! Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago Great photos! My eldest DS is an Honorary Member of H.O.G. Chapter 93. The Buddy Stubbs Dealership is absolutely beautiful. We were there in March for the Wednesday Ride for Kids. Do you guys ride? DH has had a couple motorcycles, but his favorite was his Harley. Boys and their toys! Less is BEST!

Along with all the other stresses that you have right now, it must be very difficult. Stay strong, I will pray that things start to get better soon. Wishing you all the best, always. RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago Since DH had to sell his bike, he only gets to ride once a year. We used to go to some of the other events at Buddy Stubbs, but we haven't been able to make it lately since DH's hours changed. My DH does alot of car shows as well. He has a Scion. His ABSOLUTE pride and joy! Again, boys and their toys!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I have also not seen this movie. I was told that it was hysterical by some friends of mine. It is however, just a movie. I have always felt that marriage is all about giving and taking. You will get out of it what you put into it. There always needs to be communication and compromise. I think everyone has their ups and downs. Life is full of hurdles, if you can't jump over them, climb them. Eventually you will make it over. Having children adds a whole new dynamic to marriage, and it is truly a wonderful experience. You learn to grow and adapt to all types of situations, both good and bad. Life is a journey...climb aboard and enjoy the ride! Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I almost forgot...I bought my Dad the best gift ever (IMO)! I am taking him and my Mom and my entire family to opening night of the Circus. My Dad loves stuff like that! Besides, isn't every Grandparents dream to make memories with their grandchildren. I worked as a Daycare provider for about 8 months and saved almost every penny. Not only did it make me feel great to actually buy the tickets, but I will have enough extra cash to splurge on fun stuff while we are there. It will be a real treat! I haven't been to the Circus since I was a child when my parents took my sister and myself. I am looking forward to sharing my children's first time at the Circus with my parents. Memories...the gift that keeps on giving.... Less is BEST!

RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I set my alarm for 4:55 am. This way, after I hit snooze once, I will still be up just after 5am. I get up early to exercise before my children get up and before DH has to go to work. I am so thankful that school is out. Every Monday my eldest DS had Student Council and I had to take DD to HS. I had to set my alarm for 3:45am. so that I would have plenty of time to get everyone up and ready so that we could leave the house by 6:30 am. UGH! Even for me, that was just too darn early! I am loving summer! Less is BEST!
RMOMROXJoined: 11/08/06 Posts: 1285 | Posted: 1 years ago I have this obsession if you will....I like the dishes done right after dinner so that my sink is empty. I started this years ago when we moved into our new home at that time. We eat dinner really early, around 4:30 p.m. (due to eldest DS medical condition). Anyway, nothing frosts my hide more than when I wake up in the morning and I find dishes in my sink that my eldest DD or my DH have used from the night before. So....imagine my utter frustration when this morning at 5 a.m., I come down to the kitchen to make my coffee and yep, you guessed it! There were dishes in the sink that HAD NOT been rinsed out! UGH! I proceed to make my coffee, and wonder who in the world did not understand english! RINSE the DISHES...not that hard! Whoops! It was ME... I was the culprit!!! I had ice cream last night and I FORGOT to wash my OWN dishes! I learned my lesson! Less is BEST! |
