Start with a business plan... it takes a while, but if you truly go through it and create it you will see if that is the road you want to go down. The best one I found was at SCORE http://www.score.org/template_gallery.html ...

Good luck!

YEAH TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! It's so important to be active together. You are setting such a great example for your kids while at the same time making your cardiovascular system stronger and your body healthier.

You may want to invest in a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps. I love it. I make a game out of it for me. 10k steps is the equivelant of 5 miles. You would be surprised how much you walk around the house. By about 9 am I'm already at around 2,500! So 10k really is achieveable. Sounds big, but it's not.

Good luck on your walking adventure!

What if you did a Daddy and Daughter(Son) Party... all the Daddy's and their daughters could make a cute picture frame for their homes. The kids could pick out a picture of the two of them and they could make the frame from popsicle sticks or you could even get some pretty inexpensive on Oriental Trading...

Then you could have the Dad's do something the girls liked and the girls could watch the football game with their dads...???

For the past 4 years my mother has watched my girls. Recently she has moved and we are in a transition period. My little one sobbed her eyes all week when the baby sitter comes over. Today she asked to go to her room and go to bed... I don't know what to do. My heart is breaking for her and I fear she's a little depressed. Any advice???

What great ideas. I love the photo book and making the special gifts she can send off. Thank you all for your support. You are all awesome.

She does like her sitter, but she LOVES her Nonni and there is no replacement so I know she's having a tough time right now. I just don't want her to hurt.

I've only heard amazing things about this company. My girls never got stuck in the sides of the cirb. I took this from their website... check out the picture... may be just what you need.

Why a wedge-shaped bumper?

Traditional crib bumpers look great, but they have drawbacks. Some safety organizations say padded bumpers pose a SIDs risk. They can also help babies climb out of a crib. Plus, they make changing the sheets a big hassle!

CozyWedge bumpers fit snugly around the crib, won't slip down and are easy to remove for sheet changing. They cushion the crib for your baby but they have a safer, firm surface that won't form a pocket around a baby's mouth and nose. The shock-absorbing foam is the same foam used in swimming noodles, and is totally nonabsorbent, CFC-free and odorless. The slipcovers are completely washable.
