well we had a really bad start Simon had acid reflux when he was born but wasnt diagnosed till he was a month old, so the first month he was crying non stop till we got him on zantac then it was like he was a different baby. then we had to deal with torticollis (head tilts to the left basically ear to shoulder) we have been going to physical therapy every week since march for that. then our physical therapist recommended we get the crainal remolding band to help get rid of the flat spots he got from the torticollis, appointments for adjustments to the band were every week now they are every other week. thankfully he only has 3 more weeks in the doc band and hopefully only one more visit to the pt she just wants to know what the ortho says. we are burned out on appointments and it will be so nice when they are over. so any thoughts of another baby make me fear having to go through all that stuff again and of having another bad delivery experiance. oh and if you ask my husband about having another one his reply is hell no hehe.

Simon hasnt been sleeping through the nite lately its driving me crazy. he doesnt wake up at the same time every nite last nite he woke up around 5am and the other nite it was around 2am. his crib is in our bedroom so he starts making noise and i wake up the only way i have been able to get him to go back to sleep is to put him in his swing and even then he is awake for awhile but atleast he stays quite. i have no clue what is going on and have no clue how to get him to sleep through the nite again.

his 2 front bottom teeth have already broken the surface for those he was mainly whiny all day for a few days before they came in. last nite was really bad he was acting tired so we gave him his bath , fed him and as soon as the pacifier was in his mouth he was out so he went to bed around 9:30pm and around 10pm he woke up screaming and wouldnt go back to sleep till 12am he woke up again at 3am but my husband was able to get him to fall back asleep pretty fast then of course he woke up again at 4am screaming like he was dying and wouldnt calm down. i got up changed his diaper tried to calm him down and nothing was working so i had my husband make a 4oz bottle he drank that and fell back asleep. i just dont see how he could of stayed up that long considering he didnt nap much at all that day.

yup we use the teething tabs sometimes they work sometimes they dont. there has alos been times that he was throwing a fit and we used orajel and he went to sleep right away but lately nothing seems to be working. hopefully tonite he will sleep better. but on a good note we went to the ortho today for hi to check his torticollis (first time we have gone) and he said everything looked fine woohoo no botox or surgery needed and that means we only have one more pt appointment to go to.

we gave simon a biter biscut once in one of the mesh bag things, he loved it and threw a fit when it was gone it was just really really messy. we usally give him tastes of stuff from our food he really likes rice we just give him a few grains at a time.

hmm i was married 6 years before we had simon and it wasnt planned at all, boy is it a big change of life style. we have been together almost 10 years in total so we were used to only have to worry about the 2 of us and our animals, we used to go out drinking and stay out all nite and go to stores when we wanted to now its based on when simon eats when he wakes up and when we have to go to appointments its taken awhile to get used to.
