I have always said public schools would be the way for my kids.  However with all that is going on, we may be checking into a private school next year.  Not sure though, I know there are issues everywhere.

Living 1700+ miles away from the grandparents cause them not to be involved in a day to day contact with the kids.  Howver every summer the kids go back to our hometown in IL for almost half the summer to stay with both sets of granparents, and aunts & uncles.  The love the time there away from mom & dad.

My parents have been married for 48 years this July.  Although it has been many years, there have been bumps as in any marriage, however they love each other whole heartedly and have been GREAT role models on marriage.

I agree that women should be able to breastfeed in public.  However, I know I may get some flack about this - it needs to be concealed and covered up.  I have been at the mall, and I was a breast feeding mother, but there was a woman her breast hanging out, the baby playing with it, and she was not covered up - just hanging there.

This is something that no one needs to be a spectator to.  I agree that it is natural and think mothers have the right to feed their children anywhere, but it does need to be done with some respect to others around them.

I moved from my hometown at 25 to Orlando, FL to be with Eric in February of 1996.  We lived together, prior to us getting married in October 1996.  Some may think differently, but I think it helps you to get to know the little flaws that can drive you nuts.  You either learn to live with them or know before you take the plunge to get out.

Luckily, we loved each other enough to accept the other flaws and all and I would not change one glorious moment.

Well this is something that is said in our home at least twice a week.  With my oldest in 5th grade, it is like WOW!  If it were not for the internet and ask.com, I do not know that I would be able to help her.  However, at least at my daughters school in 5th grade, they are starting to teach the beginning stages of algebra.  That did not come until 7th grade in my time.

Heck some nights, I have to ask myself, am I smarter than a 3rd grader.

I think that both you and your daughter need counciling immediately.  Boot camp is not going to help, that will only excalate the situation because you sent her away. 

Her dad needs to be involved also.  No matter out of state or not.  You say you need proof, well even if the sexual effects are not happening the fact that she is saying it is proof she needs help!

Your daughter is reaching out to you in anyway to get some sort of attention, negative or otherwise - if both of you talk to someone, maybe it will bring out the issue.  And if Dad can come every once in awhile, that would be even better.
