Bill may have had higher taxes for most brackets, however life was much better - cost of living is through the ROOF!  When a gallon of milk is $4.39 cents and minimum wage is $6.75, take taxes out - you work one hour for a gallon of milk - PLEASE . . .

Many may not like Bill, but I am a HUGE fan - he is the greatest president who believed in peace - he loved everyone - whether it was his wife, child, intern or friend.  George likes war and wants to prove that he is the ruler of the free world.

Completely agree with Rachel - it was his personal life.  I understand he is in the public eye, but us American's are the ones who love a scandal and want to know all.  That was a personal matter between, him, Hillary, and Monica - we the American ppl are the ones who made it an outrage and our business.

Bill had to go to Hillary and ask for forgiviness -  she has moved on.  He and her are better ppl for it.

No matter what he did in his personal life he was one of the GREATEST presidents in history.

My husband will help if I ask.  Same with kids, however most of time, I do myself just to make sure it is done "my" way. (Which of course is the only and right way)  I have spoiled all of them!

However if it comes to the kids - he will do whatever he can to help.  He is a great hands on dad.  He is the FUN guy, and mommy is the mean one that makes you stick to the rules.

I have degermed binki's and bottles from falling on floors - where I knew the floor.  If we were out, it would be hot water here I come.

The 5 second rule applies at my house, if it something that does not require clean up on the floor.  However, most of my kids are old enough to now think it is so gross that they would prefer to throw away and get new, and complain if we do not have a replacement.

I completely agree with Susan.  The American people are ready for change - drastic change.  Granted the taxes maybe lower now, but the inflation of the items we pay to live on are thru the roof.  Like I mentioned before you have a minimum wage job - you work one hour for a gallon of milk, and in some areas 1 gallon of gas.

Regardless whether he will wear an American Flag pin does not mean that this man has not done great things for the state of IL and for our country as a US Senator.  I am orginally from IL - he has gained alot of support from ppl in that state that would have never of before supported a black man, and he has proven himself as a man who is ready for change and can lead it.

It is always a tough subject to approach.  In todays world it seems harder, as kids are not taken to funerals, wakes, or memorials like they were when we were kids.  My kids are 10, 9, 7 and have never been to a funeral, and what scares me the most is that their first one willb e their grandparents.  I really think this will be tramatic for them.

My grandmother (mom's mom) died when Hannah was 2 1/2 and Sam was a baby.  Hannah knew something was wrong, because Grandma Dorothy was not at Grandma Nella's house.  Well we simply explained that God needed her in heaven to help watch out over us.  So everytime something happened - good or bad, she would comment how Grandma Dorothy was watching her.  My dad's mom passed away 2 years ago, but we went back prior to her passing so we were not able to make back to funeral a week later.  But the kids all know that you are here on earth to bring love and happiness to as many as you can, and when you pass on - you are still here in everyone you touched hearts and will look after those still here.

Death is hard to explain to anyone at any age - even as an adult now, I still do not understand death - some happen so quickly and hopefully painlessly, and others suffer and drag on- it is not a fair thing, but something that happens. It is just best to explain that while we are here it is better to be happy and nice than to waste time worrying and being mean - to treat others nicely and tell everyone you love daily.

We have joint account direct deposit, so regardless of a raise or not, both of us get benefit of it immediately.  Usually, we try to put the raise directly into our savings, up that deposit in there.  Portion of our check goes to checking, smaller portion to savings, but every little bit helps.

I use blue tooth - wish I could get DH to use the one that I got him for Christmas, yet it is still in the package.  I need the hands free - need them for other things like lipstick, radio station changing, finger pointing - etc. . .hehehe

YEAH!  I am sssoooo glad to hear all is ok.  Just wait mom, you will be able to start sleeping nights because of it.  As for DH letting her do anything she wants  - well that is just the beginning of the daddy/daughter bond - that will NEVER change and trust me only gets worse.  Put your prayers in now if you have a next one for a boy, as then there will be some discipline going on from dad and then mommy is the one who says wait a minute that is my baby boy.
