I understand what this girl did was totally wrong, however no adult has any right to put their hands on someone elses kid(s).  Even though she did not hit her, she did grab her - not cool.  Trust me I think the girl is out of line - where is the respect for the adult.  I would be mortified if that was my daughter.  However, I understand the bus drivers daughter coming to her defense, but when she did that, she made bodily contact, which is wrong, same with friends.

All should be charged - whether disorderly conduct or battery - they are all at fault, as bodily contact was made by all.

I just spoke to Rachel, she is doing better - and hopes to go home early this week.  She send everyone her thanks for all the well wishes and good thoughts.

Thanks for caring about our MT addict and showing her all the love!

Hum, that is hard to say - as my mother raised on heck of a PERFECT child- just joking!

In ways I think Eric and I are doing a better job, but the only reason I feel this way is it is a TOTALLY different time.  My parents are awesome with my kids and other nephews and niece, so I think if they were raising a child now a days they would still be doing a good job.

My mom and dad were always there for us kids, taught us right from wrong, made us face our consequences, loved us, spoiled us, punished us, talked to us, yelled at us, etc.  I have a GREAT relationship with my parents and feel they did a FANTASTIC job at raising me, my sis, and 2 brothers.

I think my mom and dad both feel we are doing a fine job - actually I know they do, as they tell us that - we are here in AZ all by ourselves, and can not rely on any family - and they see that.  Actually when my kids were in IL - all my extended family - aunts, uncles, all commented on how we have done a hell of a job raising them.

If I had a choice New York style on a regular basis.  I am so much more a thin crust girl.  However Lou Malnati's pizza Chicago style is the only way to go if you are looking for a good Chi-town pizza!

Is she going to be in pain after the surgery?  NOTHING TYLENOL WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF, SAM WAS RUNNING AROUND IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS - LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED

Will she have any (yuck) coming from her ears? IF ANY LITTLE THAT A WASH CLOTH WILL GET - SHOULD NOT BE ANYTHING MORE THAN LITTLE WAX

Will her ears bleed occasionally after surgery? NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS AT ALL - SAM WAS GONE FOR LESS THAN 20 MINUTES FROM MY ARMS

Will she get more infections? HAS NOT HAD ONE IN 7 YEARS SINCE GETTING

Does she need ear plugs for the bath? DID NOT USE THEM, DR ADVISED NOT NECISSARY, AS JUST A LITTLE IN THERE WOULD NOT HURT

Any and all (after surgery) info is appreciated..  The doctors have the same GENERIC answers for everyone.  I want answers from ppl who have experienced this..  I WOULD RECOMMEND TUBES IN EARS TO ANYONE!  YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT WORLD AFTER THE SURGERY.  DO NOT REACT WHEN THEY TAKE HER FOR SURGERY FROM YOU - IT MAY SCARE HER, SHE WILL BE FINE AND BE READY TO CUDDLE WHEN SHE IS DONE.

Mine is cleaned out, as we had a get together Saturday night to watch the fight on Showtime, and then after that Sam's birthday cake - with all that gone - cleaned out . . .   I can see the bottom of some shelves - which is nice in away - but awful in another that means I will spend money to fill it back up.

My DH would NEVER allow his son to be entered into something that is not macho enough to be considered manly!  I know this is sad, but it is his feelings.  When Sam was a baby, he did wear hand me downs from Hannah  - onesies, etc that were covered by clothes.

DH got weird when seen Son in a pink polo however my son told his dad "chicks dig guys who wear pink"  So that took care of that.

I completely agree with Jan.  While I hope it is nothing - you do need a copy of these type of things, so if needed later to protect YOU!  Do not let him know you have these copies either.

Like others have said do not accuse, but state the facts that you found and how you feel about them.  You will need to listen, but he needs to hear you out also.  Do not let him turn this on you.  That is a cheaters ammo - they will make it seem like your fault and none of this is your fault.

I have never been in this situation, and hope to never be, but think of yourself and your kids first - even though he is your hubby and father to your kids - realize you are the most important person in this equation - and need to take care of your self first.

I am huge on recycling.  My kids know to keep out the items Glendale recycles.  The one thing they do not recycle and am bummed about is glass.  Wish they would start that.

Another mother and I are starting "GO GREEN" campaign at school for next year.  We are going to start a compost pile, and recycling program at the school to get the kids involved.  So if the do not do it at home, they will learn they need to, and by helping the school recycle, they will be helping the enviroment.

Great job at opening the communication.  It will be a long road, but it is worth the trip.
