Hannah's first field trip was to a farm here in the area.  I could not however go, I had just started my job and they would not let me have time off.  Oh but have I made up for it.  I have since been to Phnx Zoo 3 times, Wildlife Zoo twice, that farm once, Puppet Theater, IMAX and so many more I can not think of.

I always go, as my kids school is famous for no parent volunteer after K, and in case of Amanda's K class - it was only me and one.  That is what burns me more than anything - no volunteering and expecting teacher/schools to raise the kids.

Soap opera definetly, there would be more drama - although it would be a short lived show. . .

Mommy02, I feel for your BIL and his family!  And ppl do need to stop judging just by the color of your skin.  Your BIL is LEGAL in the US, there are millions here that are not and are here to have the US make them a better life, instead of themsleves making a better life. 

It is a problem all over, and being from the midwest, I never thought of it as a problem, I always thought it was just in TX, CA, AZ, NM, FL - but it is all over the US. 

I sympathize with the people who waited and got to come to our country legally, as they are paying the price for the people that have done it ILLEGALLY.  That is my biggest complaint - their are several ppl that are up in arm about deporting of them, but the key word in illegal alien is ILLEGAL!
