KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 11 months ago Usually we do a turkey and ham and all the trimmings. However with only 5 of us and 3 being kids we always wasted a bunch of it. So this year, they voted - turkey for turkey day, and we are having ham for Christmas! Now I have to still get one though - UGH!

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 11 months ago As a kid, we always went to midnight mass, came home to Santa having arrived while gone and then we opened all our gifts. My kids open all on Christmas. I have never put out any gifts under the tree early, as the dogs would chew on them and then they would know. So it is all Christmas day at my house.

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 11 months ago Ok, this is nationwide, so it will touch everyone. I was very nervious about going to see this movie, as I did not want it to ruin my memories growing up of Alvin, Simon, & Theodore. However, this is the cutest kids movie I have seen in a long time! It was funny, entertaining, held the kids and adults interest, and was GREAT! I highly recommend for you all to take your kids to it. There was even a mother with a little girl about 2 sitting behind me and the little girl laughed at a lot of things she thought was cute.

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 11 months ago I got my flannel jammies - YEAH, was so excited! Victoria Secret rocks! Kids reactions were odd this year, the gifts that I thought they would flip over was like oh, I got a . .. and the items I thought would be ho hum were RIGHT ON! My son was very excited when he opened his Halo 3, with them not opening the XBOX 360 yet, he was more excited about the Halo 360, because he thought it worked on his XBOX. So life goes. They are all playing PEACEFULLY and that is all that matters! And did I mention, I LOVE MY FLANNEL JAMMIES, and the other cool gifts I got too! Denise | |
