KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 12 months ago The love of my life - a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo. I loved that car! It was maroon with a blk half roof, maroon interior. I bought a 1992 Chevy Lumina Eurosport brand new in 92 just because it reminded me of my Monte Carlo! Denise

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 12 months ago So I have to brag a little here - Hannah's 5th grade band concert is tonight. She plays the flute, and for it being only 3 months, she is not bad at it. Well she was to have a duet with another girl - as he picked 2 kids from every section - woodwines, brass, and percussion. Well her duet partner is now sick, so the band teacher wants her to do a solo! I am so proud of her. I am going to videotape it, so hopefully I will be able to put it in my videos area for all to see, if nothing else I will get some pics up! Had to brag! Denise
KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 12 months ago AWESOME! And although they are your kids, I disagree with your husband. My kids since we moved here has went to a Christmas party everyyear for financially challenged families that my husbands office donates toys too. My kids have been going since they were 1 years old, and we talk to them about the kids and Santa comes to them and gives them special presents that they helped pick some of them out, as there moms and dads maybe can not buy them something extra special. You would think at 1, 3 & 4 at the time that the kids would throw a complete fuss, but they LOVE going, and one yr we almost missed and they were mad, and made us change our plans because they did not want to miss. Your kids are old enough to realize there are ppl less fortunate then them, and it helps them realize that they are ppl too. Taking my kids into a joyful place like the Xmas party lets them appreciate what they have and get all year long. Denise
