My oldest is like this, my littlest will help at the drop of a hat, gets up in morning - makes bed puts clothes in hamper, etc. My oldest you could pull her teeth and she would still not do it.

Stephen brings up a good point, however I was 18-20 yrs old once also, and lets face it if I ws surrounded by all those in shape young studs - would I be totally capable, I do think so. . .  hehe!

However I do believe if a person, man or woman wants to register and defend our country - thank you, as I do not know that I could do it.  I applaud each and every person.  Also, if the US did not allow women in the military to go to war zones, would there be enough registered men to do this? There are ppl that are on a revolving door for rotation in these areas already - with women there.  I think there would be more controversy over a draft instead of allow us women in.

My husband has already said he is deadbolting the girsl windows at 13, I asked to prevent sneaking out - he said no he was a 13 yr old boy, from them sneaking in.  I asked about Sam - and did not comment, so he feels the same way.

I however will not allow the double standard.  Will talk about abstence to all of them also, and wait for the right person and marriage.  I know it is hard these days, but I have already had to have the sex talk with my 10 year old because a girl in her class came to school with pictures - UGH.
