When they place this precious little girl in my arms, I knew what I was sent down here on earth to do. I finally realized what my purpose was. Before I got married, and had my kids, I was more or less lost. After marriage and the pregnancy, I knew I was finally happy and content with my life. If we could afford it I would have 12 kids - I loved being pregnant and I love being a mom. My husband and 3 kids have helped make me complete.

At 2 she is young, but you can have her say thank you for coming. Anytime we go to a party or invited over for dinner - I always take something - even if it is flowers for the woman of the house.

Hubby is on for sports, bands, and email. I am on for MT, email, and news. Hannah is on for club penguin, and looking up stuff for school, and other sites tweeners are interested in. Sam is on club penguin, and other gaming sites. Amanda is on club penguin, starfall, disney, and any other site 6 yrs old go for. I do monitor everynight what they have been on, and so far thank goodness, there has been nothing that I have had to have the talk with them. Denise

Activities - try him on some computer games for a little while everyday - playhousedisney.com, nickjr.com - he will recognize the characters and can play games - he may like it and it keep him entertained for a bit - this would be especially great if computer is to where you can lay down and still watch him. Or if he like you reading to him, tell him if he is good, watches tv or plays nicely, you will read to him sfter you get some rest. This will give some one on one time with him. That may be what is wrong - it was mommy and me, and now there is a little thing there with mommy, and it is not him.

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 1 years ago Another GREAT book, and it is about a mother and her son - "I'll Love You Forever" You will be surprised how quickly he picks up the poem in it. Denise
KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 1 years ago I do check for expired medicines in the cabinets. Never use to, however noticed one about 2 yrs ago that had expired in 2002, so I am a fanatic about it. I generally toss out when it has about 3 months left. As for Dr medicine - generally get rid of it by taking all like prescribed. However do have some knock you out drugs from Dr for my back spasms that are in a locked cabinet for when needed. KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 1 years ago I use to work as a 911 operator in IL, everyday these men and women, kiss their loved ones good bye, go to work to protect us - which I think is an amazing sort! I would say half of the ppl they run into on their shift are ppl that do not appreciate a darn thng they do to protect our safety, and then the other half that do aapreciate it, they do not run into. They get belittled and yelled at on most of their calls, lied to, shot at, spit at all the while not making a wage that I would do it for. These men and women put their lives on the line - and when an officer is killed in the line of duty, a nationwide message goes out to every police dept, sheriff dept, and law enforcement agency to let them know that a brother or sister has fallen for the cause. This is the worst message to get when you are sitting there in that seat, as you read it across the air to your guys. There are clicks in honor of the fallen hero. This is what they are - a HERO, without them their would be no peace - you would not be safe to go out of your house. My BIL has just been named interm sheriff in the county where I was a 911 operator. He served 33 years on the city police force, retiring in August then was named Sheriff, since the sheriff just retired in the middle of his term, and I could not be more proud of him. He has served my hometown and county - taken many criminals off the street, arrested drug dealers, and murders to make this a safer place. So instead of thinking what is he doing to break the law - THANK THEM FOR THE JOB THEY DO! The men and women that suit up day in and day out to protect us, deserve the respect and honor that we pay to the men and women in the military. They are just fighting the fight on our soil! KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1374 | Posted: 1 years ago I have taught my kids instincts also - they know who the creeps are just as Rachel said! Even in stores, there are ppl that smile at them and say hello - they are always polite and say hello, but their instincts tell them who to smile at and who not too. It is amazing how kids pick up on things at a young age. My kids know in stores not to only look for security, as most are plain clothed to catch petty thieves, to look for workers behind counters. However knock on wood, I have not had this worry yet, my kids are generally always with me, Eric, or are always with each other. And trust me - there will never be a stranger to get to one of them when all 3 are together - they are worse at protecting each other than I am over them.
