I am in favor of the death penalty and whole heartedly believe if they would bring back public hangings and people would see what they go through that maybe the violence would subside a little.

Magilla Gorilla is my favorite of ALL TIMES.

However, now a days - Spongebob is on my TV more than anything else.  If it is not that it is some other cartoon that the kids have on.  I do not knwo the last time I watched a grown up show, at least all the way through.

Does born and raised there count and then wise up and move to sunny AZ count?  I lived in midwest IL the first 25 years of my life, moved to FL for 2 years, then to Chicagoland area for 2 years and then to AZ!

I miss everyonce in awhile, then I tune into weather channel and my homesickness is gone.

If it is like here in AZ - I went and voted for the lesser of the evils. 

I had not paid any attention to all the ads that are running on tv here, however my mother from IL pointed out how all the commercials here are MUDSLINGING and DOWN GRADING the other canidates, instead of talking about there issues and what they plan to do.  After that, I started paying attention, and she was right.  It is sad that they have to hurt someone else reputation to make them look better.  Not one of them wanted to say what they stood for, or would do for us . . .

This is the most transmitted disease, as it can lay dormant for years, and you not even know about it.  My friend was diagnosed with it and her husband or 6 years did not have it.  She asked her doctor and he stated that it can lay dormant for up to 10 years.  She eventually found out how she got it and it had been a guy that she had been with 8 years prior, knew he had it, and did nothing to prevent from spreading.  Undetected - it can cause cervical cancer. 

People, especially kids now a days need to be cautious - I AM SO GLAD I AM NOT SINGLE anymore.

Most Turkey Days are very traditional for us, however this year, I will be eating, oops enjoying time with Mickey Mouse!  What does a mouse serve for Thanksgiving Dinner????

I am going to make a Thanksgiving Dinner this Sunday ~ as I can not miss out on all the good stuff - Turkey, Ham, MP & G, Sweet Potatoes, Green Bean Cassarole, Biscuits, Cream Corn Cassarole, & Apple, Cherry & Pumpkin Pie!

Midwest IL girl here - Born in Macomb and the raised in Galesburg.  Lived there til I was 25 and then went to FL and got married, moved back to Bartlett, IL and then to SUNNY AZ! 

I miss the family, but I am very lucky both my parents are retired and come often.  They are here now, came right before Halloween and are staying til after Christmas!  So homesickness is few and far in between.

I love the warm weather, ok HOT sometimes, but I would rather cool my car down then warm it up!  

I miss the change of seasons, but the area where I grew up at has been hit so hard lately, factories closing, railroad getting smaller - it is not a happy place as I remember it growing up = Sad to becuase I had a GREAT childhood there.
