Even thought your mother is in a delicate time in her life, he is still YOUR father.  Just because it did not work out for them, does not mean that you should not have a relationship with him.

Your little brother and the smile and gesture was a sign.  This is maybe something YOU need.  Maybe your dad and his new wife will give you the support you need, instead of looking to you for support!

Take the leap, and go see your dad, it sounds like you have not spoken or seen, and after speaking with his new wife, you know that he is there and would love to see you!

I generally shop at Fry's - and a bonus there is they offer .10 off gas and it accumulates, not like Safeway, where it is a one shot deal, so it is nice.

I am there at least once a week for main shopping and then might have to pop in for some forgotten or ran out thing.

I generally get away with $100 - $120 a week.

I am a HUGE coupon and sale person.  I also will look in other adds, and can find a good deal will make a trip to Safeway or Albertson's as all 3 stores are less than a mile from my house.

I would really like to go back to a simpler time, before tv, computers, vide games.  The whole little house ont he prairie intrigues me also.

Families were real families, they worked, prayed, and played together.  Granted it was alot of manual labor, I think that is what builds character in everyone.

Now a days we are so accustomed to machines doing our work it is unreal.  However without those machines, we would not have MT!

I snoop already.  My daughter has an email account and I monitor it.  But is it really snooping when she knows I check it.

That is how I found out she had and dumped her first boyfriend.

This is why I LOVE living in AZ, or any warm climate for that matter.  I grill our food, 5 sometimes 6 nights out of the week.  Steaks, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish - you name I will grill it. 

My favorite is salmon - i put ea individaul pc of salmon in aluinum foil, place butter in it, dash of sea salt, and the squeeze a lemon wedge on it and deposit lemon wedge in it  - then seal up.  It turns out so GREAT!
