I was time for her pictures, so we went to the college and bought her an official FL Gator cheerleading outfit, pon poms and all. I will have to dig out a picture and post it. As soon as we saw it, we knew that this was it, and to this day, it is still one of my favorite pictures and my favorite outfits - still have it for her to pass on to her little girl, if she has one! KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1375 | Posted: 2 yearss ago It does sound like roseola to me also. All 3 of mine had it, and it is a trunk rash with a high fever. Check with doctor, but there is probably no need to worry Denise
KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1375 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I have seen this on the news - CNN & FOX. The parents went out for evening to eat while the daughter slept 150 yards away, came back and she was gone. In all the reports I have heard, no one was supervising this child, she was alone. It has always been mentioned that the little girl was asleep and the parents were only 150 yards away. This is big news the author of Harry Potter books has offered 500,000 reward, and David Beckham is making public service announcements for the family. While I feel for these parents, what would ever let you think that it is ok to leave a sleeping child alone to go only 150 yards away to eat dinner. 5 minutes maybe not for hour plus. . . Denise

KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1375 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I loved my Fisher Price Little People. I had most of them - the house, the village, the school, the farm, the airport, the treehouse, and Sesame Street. I would sit for hours and play with them -and then place everyone back where they belonged. Now, this is definetly dating me, but this was when FP Little People were little people - not the now a days of the Big Little People. I never heard of a kid swallowing one causing them to make bigger, but hey sign of times. Some of mine were plastic, and some were even classic and made of wood! Denise
KmomJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1375 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I go thru the hassel every morning also - but with 3. First it is trying to get htem up, then dressed, then teeth and hair brushed, then breakfast, then out the door. This all with out the fighting and bickering - however in a perfect world that would happen, not mine! There are alot of mornings, I would like my name to be mom, instead of MMMOOOOMMMM. Like Devi stated we need to count our blessings, as they will not be like this much longer. I take a deep breathe and let it out, hoping for in with the good, out with the bad. And for one morning, let them know if there is no jumping on the bed, maybe they will get icecream for breakfast - what will it hurt, they are only little once! Denise |
