God works in mysterous ways.

Support is the main thing.  Possibly get her into a therapist of some sort.  I got the "mean girl" stage started here at the beginning of the year n 4th grade, I took my daughter to a Talk Dr. as she calls it, and it helped a great deal.  She has done great, and mentions stuff still after not seeing him since November of stuff they talked about and advise he gave her.

You can tell her anything you like, however you are mom, and she may look at it, as mom will tell me anything to make me feel better. 

I tried the counselor at school thing, and they were of no help, it got worse on my part also.  I am not sure of where you are but AZ has bullying laws to protect kids -  your daughter should not have had to leave school because of it.  Check that out, because the law is on your side if there is bullying laws in effect - the school has to do something about it.

I just ecperienced this with my kindergartener.  She came home to tell me that a boy was humping her and calling her sexy.  I talked to her teacher and it has stopped.  When her teacher talked to the boy - he fessed up tp it, however - the conclusion - he had NO CLUE what he was doing.

After she talked to him, he felt bad that it offended her and apologized.  No need for suspension, just teach the kids.  TOO BAD that the school has to teach the kids morals and values, and NOT parents anymore for most kids.

I have been both the baseball mom, and now for first time soccer mom - both have been good, but I see more team sport in soccer than the baseball thing.

It depends on the kid - however my vote soccer at that age.

I personally like Caffine-Free Diet Coke and Diet Dr Pepper.  Although, I gave up for lent and am jonesing for one right now, since I had to think about it.

Date night comes around every so often, no real set time.

We do this mostly when we go to concerts - with our parents being in IL, we do not have luxuroy of babysitter whom we can rely on and do not worry ab out the kids with.  Have a couple whom we trust for couple hours, but nothing to major.

We do more as a family, but my parents will be here in May and June, then are taking kids to IL for July - so I will let you know what date month is like!
