True Heaven! I love Starbucks - worst thing that happened to my poceket book - drive thru opened on my way to work. Love my latte w/ 4 raw sugars - hot, and then my frap choice would have to be carmel macciato.

Rootbeer and cola bottlecaps - the candy - only these flavors - no others with my last two. With the first one - green olives, and now I can not stomach them - guess it is because I would eat about a gallon jar a month.

I am lucky, at a school I am very involved in, so they are pretty open to me. However, I see why teachers are distanced from parents. I have been a room mom for several years for all 3 of my kids now, and when I make calls, for items that people have signed up for, they are down right rude, and make you feel like you are imposing on them. When I have mentioned this to the teachers I am trying to help, they advised me that this is the reaction that they get from 70-80% of the parents. The parents out there that are willing to listen/talk to a teacher and work through issues with them instead of blaming them are FEW and far between. There are several parents out there in our school system that think the teachers should be raising the kids, teaching them the pillars of character, and I think that is a crock. That should start at home and be touched upon at school. The parents that a teacher deals with most frequently are the parents that believe their child did no wrong and can do no wrong and make excuses, instead of trying to help and meet 50/50 to make both the parent and the teachers job easier.

AZHeather - agree with you on the curriculum night - most parents do not show up, then they wonder why a childs teacher does not even know who they are at parent/teachers conference - IF they even show up. My kids school Site Council/Booster Club has 4 mother's who are actively involved and we make sure we get the basics done at school- we would LOVE to do more, but between work, our families and day to day life - we can not do to many activities that we would LOVE to be able to do. Parent participation is a key to helping teachers shape our children in to well rounded adults! I had my 3 children to love them, nuture them, teach them, and to help them with lifes little obsticles, teachers are there to HELP us along the path.

I meant to say I DON'T think it is Viviane - not I do think it is. I am not sure who it is. All I know is if it is a male - he has the smallest hands I have ever seen in a pair of gloves. ...

I will have to think for the actual name of it, but there is a church here on west side just north of 101 on 75th Ave that has a light display that charges by the car to driver thru. One night they have a canned food drive to get in. It is nice - the kids really enjoyed it. Glendale Glitters is nice - kids like it as they truck in snow. However - be preparred to stand in line forever for a few short minutes of pleasure. it does get crowded, but the shops in the area are nice to go thru.

The pee part, put dishwashing liquid in the toliet before they go, when the stream hits - it makes bubbles - works better than aim at cheerios. The poop part, have no clue. I was very fortunate with that - my kids did that better than peeing. Although I traumitized my oldest when she was 3 and her goldfish died. I though flushing it sending it to heaven, as her Great Grandma that just passed needed a pet - with her watching would help. Well needless to say - it caused her to never go to the bathroom in that toilet again as she thought she would pee or poop on her goldfish.

I think there is money involved from the Maxx Factor area. If it was anyone's daughter that this man brutally rapes and beat - they would not have done this. But since they were average everday girls - and not ones from money or power - there is going to be some repricutions for the TEAM that allowed these young women to try to put a little closure on theit life. Being from AZ, we know how many people excape the US and head to Mexico - because they are safe there to do as they please. The Mexican Government is no help to capture a SICK man that deserves to pay for what he did - to me 124 years in prision is not enough - he should have been drugged and turned over to the girls and their families. My thoughts and prayers are with these TRUE HEROES who help rid the streets and try to help people turn their lives around.

The best thing to get rid of ants- any kind - dry grits. Sprinkle on and around ant mound, they take it back, eat it, and it swells in them - killing them. It is just like the ant poison out, but MUCH cheaper. The best thing I have found for the itching - is benadryl itch cream.

I hope the US refuses to extradite them to Mexico. God for bid, but if something like that ever happened to my daughters, I hope some RED BLOODED AMERICAN would do what those 3 did!
