Thier male died a couple years ago due to cancer. 3. Otters. So cute watching them play 4. Orangatans they are so silly 5. Giraffes. I always wondered what God was thinking when he made them? Its a once a day pill and he seems excited about taking it again. We are starting down at the bottom again. 10mgs. In a week if I see no improvement I can increase it to 20mgs. He has to repeat the 9th grade but hopefully this time with the right dosage he will pass just fine. Both my kids go to Brimhall Jr. High in Mesa. Posted: 7 months ago Val, Its true that even if you dont have a pool he might get away from you and wander into someone elses backyard that does. It happened here a couple years ago. A boy about 4 wanted to throw away his lollipop and his mom said ok. Instead of throwing it in the trash inside he went outside. He disappeared. They thought someone kidnapped him. Mom went looking everywhere. Police eventually found the boy in a neighbors pool and it was too late. Just happens so quickly and without warning. OH By the way. Today at Shepard Jr HIgh in Mesa they are having thier annual April Pools Day. Its a day to have free swim time and learn about safety. I should be there with my Ambo and fire dept. But over the past two years I started with it. My head feels like its gonna explode, my throat is sore and scratchy and I get sinus headaches alot. I take Zertec. That helps alot. I just got home from the Urologist this morning and he said that next week sometime he wants me in to have the old ones removed and new ones put in. He is planning on doing it as an outpatient thing. He said that if he cant get them out cause its been too long he said he will have to go back in at a different date with a laser. Thankfully I will be out for it. I dont know what date it will be done yet. The lady who is scheduling these things is out sick today. She will call me tomarrow. Other then that I dont know much else! Will keep you informed. keriaz Joined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719	Title: Helping a teen understand death Posted: 7 months ago My daughter found out Sunday about noon that a good friend of her's from school suddenly passed away Saturday morning. It was a shock to her and myself and I think its just setting in for my daughter that her friend is not gonna be there anymore. She didnt want to go to school today cause she said that she wont be able to focus and I told her that it would be best if she was with her own friends. She said that her friends didnt know her. I told her just because they didnt know her it affects the whole school. I told her that when I was in 7th or 8th grade there was a girl and her friend who were struck by a car while crossing the street after school. The one girl was killed and the other broke her leg. I didnt know the girl who died but it still bugged me. I was sad. I kept the article about the accident which included a photo of the girl. I still have it today. Its been 20 years at least. I have lost alot of people over my lifetime including my own brother. I was 15 when he was killed. My kids were little when thier own grandfather suddenly died and it was hard on them then. But now they are older things have changed for them. How did this girl die? We are not sure exactly. Its been reported she had a seizure and was unable to be revived after that. And with me being in the medical field it sounds abit strange. Usually people dont die from seizures unless it was chemically induced like doing drugs. My daughter heard that this girl went to a party the night before and thinks someone might have spiked her drink or she might have taken something. But we dont know. Its just a rumor. Wont know until toxicology reports come back. Its just difficult. Hard enough to get close really to your teen and trying to help them thru something like this is a challenge.
