Well here is abit of an update. I had a conference with a few of his teachers, principal, councelor and the school shrink. They have decided to with our permission to have him tested for special-ed.  Im not happy about it but I will do it. I had a very hard time and dispised the school system here because of what they did to me as a child. They made me do all the IQ tests and in the end the school shrink got in my face and said "My God you are stupid arent you!" Well I cant help it that it takes me awhile to learn things. Im not stupid but they didnt care and stuck me with those that were disabled mentally. So I sat there and cried abit cause it brought back tons of hurtful feelings and so forth. But I am gonna have him tested anyways. I cant do anything else for him in school. We both have tried.

Antygamma, I never said I wont look for a councelor. I have been thinking about it long before looking for thoughts from here. Im just frustrated by this whole thing.

This has been kind of a crappy week so I hope next week is better. Wed I got bit pretty good on my thumb by one of my dogs who I (stupidly) tried to stop fighting with my other dog, Son being labelled as special ed, now my kid's bike is stolen.

I have had some things stolen before in the past and its so frustrating. Several years ago we had our truck stolen. Thankfully the Sheriff's officer found it less then a mile away from our home. Only damage was a popped steering column. Spotless clean inside cause they took hefty bags and cleaned out the interior. Stole the camper top and the new cd player put in. Oh well. Got the thing back in a drivable condition. Had other things stolen before. But boy having that truck stolen really makes you feel so violated!

So maddening!! I wanna hang em all.

Most schools in the US have a zero tolerance against violence of any sort. But do the schools enforce it not really. My son was picked on alot in elementary school and he is still picked on in 9th grade.  I told my son to ignore them, walk away for years!!! Nothing worked. Finally I told him if a student swings at you FIRST you finish it! Only if the other student throws the first punch. He never did anything until one day that kid caught my son around the neck and my son tried to hit the kid in self- defense.  He missed but the boy got kicked off the bus for the rest of the school year and my son and this boy got suspended for 3 days for fighting. I told my son that for those three days we'd party. He held off long enough but the kid wouldnt leave him alone. After that day this boy never bothered my son again. I dont condone him going out and randomly fighting with someone but he has the right to defend himself.

I see people who want to kill themselves everyday in my line of work. I have also see that this is thier only way of crying out for help. People who really truely want to end thier lives dont call and tell others what they have done or will soon do. They will leave a note usually and go do what ever they do to end it all. I too think this lady who threw her kids over the bridge didnt suffer from PDD. The kids are too old now. Its probably a severe case of depression or PTSD. Its not an easy thing by far to raise kids in todays world. Everyone thinks you have to be perfect and so forth. Well sorry nobodys perfect on this planet.  Mother's who do suffer with PDD dont know where to turn for help in the begining. Crying babies can be overwhelming and I think that is what stresses new parents out the most. My son would cry alot when he was a baby and when I would get stressed out about it I would place him on a blanket on the floor in front of me while I just sat there and watched him. Boy that pissed my Father inlaw off. But when you have done all you can to get the kid to stop and they wont its better then harming the child.

I honestly think that before a new Mommy and/or Daddy walks out of that hospital they have the support of someone, anyone. Like thru the hospital, A crisis number or care number they can call at anytime for support. Far too many new parents dont have that support and in the end the child suffers the most from it.

No I cannot understand how a parent or anyone could purposely harm a child. Just cant wrap my head around that one. Kids are so innocent and its not thier fault that the parents brought them into this world.

I think this vaccination thing is just a way to spread hysteria. My kids are normal except my son has ADHD but that is genetic and runs on my husbands side of the family dating all the way back to thier great great great grandfather Daniel Boone.  My husband and I had been vaccinated and we are normal.

Anything you do now and days can potentially be harmful. Shoot just getting up out of bed you can trip and kill yourself. People need to stop being so dang paranoid about everything.

Nope. Cigs are bad for you but people have the right to smoke if they choose too. Thier choice. Just like Drinking to excess. People do make a poor choice and that is part of life. Nobodys perfect.

But I just cannot live my life being paranoid over everything thats out there. Its sad that we have to live in fear of everything. Even the medications that help us all have side affects. If you listen to all the ads on TV for medication they tell you about potential side affects that sometimes seems worse then the medication itself!

Do you all realize that if your son's dont have the chickenpox as a child and didnt get the vaccine and they get it as an adult that they can become sterile?! Scary.

Ok. As most of you all know I am an EMT with Southwest Ambulance in Mesa, AZ.  Tuesday I finally seen everything out there! I worked a plane crash! Nobody was hurt thankfully but it was just fascinating to see a smaller plane sitting in the middle of busy roadway! I guess the plane lost power after taking off from the airport where I am stationed at. So the closest place to land was the roadway! He ended up taking out some orange trees and some bushes. Missed the lightpole by inches.
