He had his school id badge stolen in his shop class today so I am abit ticked off. My daughters gym clothes were stolen also. But with her I think she accidently left them and went back to find them and they were gone. So how fun.

keriazJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719 | Posted: 1 years ago I had the same kinda deal with my MIL. Sorta. Mine will see her Grandchildren BUT she favors my son over my daughter and that really pisses my daughter off. She is 12 and has commented over the past couple of years that she hates Grandma cause she prefers her brother over her. Dont blame her there. My MIL doesnt seem to understand punishments. When my son screwed up in school I took away his privilage of going out. Why reward bad behavior? I told her that she could take my daughter out to dinner and a movie and that my son wasnt going cause he made a mistake in school. Well she said why punish him more cause I didnt allow him to go to a tailgate party for his ROTC program. She did this to me once before. Basically she doesnt want to go along with the punishments. If he is banned from TV cause of failing grades she lets him watch it at her house. I just think punishments should follow him or her and they need to complete it. I have had issues with my Inlaws since day one. My fatherinlaw was one mean sob. From 1991 until 2000 I hated my inlaws. They always started fights but I beleive now it had everything to do with my FIL. When my FIL died she changed for the better. I beleive it is your MIL's loss and dont dwell on it too much. Just make sure your kids know that you didnt keep them away from her. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

Wasnt the problem. So I took him to a psycologist and after a few hrs of talking with him she told me that he is a very very bright child. They also said that kids with ADHD also have sensitive hearing which my son does have. He is slowly outgrowing it but he still has a problem with childish behavior. I spoke with his councelor on the phone for a spell and she said that alot of this problem with kids harrassing him is caused by him. I guess she said that she found him layin on the floor all sprawled out trying to open his locker. That kind of behavior will get him beaten up or teased.

keriazJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719 | Posted: 1 years ago Baby cribs recalled after three deathsBy ANN SANNER, Associated Press Writer 7 minutes ago WASHINGTON - About 1 million Simplicity and Graco cribs are being recalled after three children became entrapped in their cribs and died of suffocation, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Friday. Two infants, a 6-month-old and a 9-month-old, died in the recalled cribs, which were sold through May 2007. A 1-year-old child died in a newer model of the cribs, which has not been recalled but is being investigated by the safety agency, CPSC officials said. Commission spokesman Ed Kang would not comment on when or where the children died. Simplicity spokesman Joe Householder said the company will not release further details about the deaths out of respect for the families. In all three deaths, the consumer had installed the drop-rail side of the crib upside down, the CPSC said. This creates a gap in the crib that children can slide into and suffocate. Seven other infants have been entrapped in the cribs, according to the CPSC. There have been 55 reports of the cribs' drop sides detaching or the hardware failing to hold the side to the crib. Simplicity Inc., of Reading, Pa., is listed as manufacturer of all the cribs, which were made in China. The recalled cribs were sold nationwide, under the Simplicity or Graco brands, from January 1998 through May 2007. The recall involves multiple models and model numbers. "Simplicity strives to make safe products, that is our number one priority. That's why we worked with the CPSC to take this action," Simplicity president Ken Waldman said in a statement. In a separate recall in June, the commission recalled about 40,000 Nursery-in-a-Box cribs, manufactured by Simplicity, because the assembly instructions incorrectly explain how to attach the drop side. None of the cribs that Simplicity currently supplies to stores is included in a recall, the company said in a statement. The commission, however, cautioned consumers who have the newer versions not covered by the recall to check to make sure the drop side is installed right side up and securely attached. The newer hardware has a flexible tab at the top of the lower track and a permanent stop at the bottom. The older hardware has a flexible tab at the bottom of the lower tracks. In an earlier Simplicity recall, a 19-month-old child in Myrtle Creek, Ore., died Jan. 6, 2006, in a crib that carried the Graco logo, the CPSC said in February 2006. Mattress support slats came out of the crib, and the child suffocated after getting trapped between the mattress and the footboard. That type of crib had been included in a December 2005 recall of about 104,000 Aspen 3 in 1 Cribs. The company is offering free repairs for cribs with older hardware. For more information, consumers can contact Simplicity at 888-593-9274. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!
