keriaz Joined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719	Title: when is a fever too high Posted: 1 years ago Usually if a fever is THAT high something is going on and it needs to be addressed. Dont flip out if your little one has a siezure suddenly when they have a fever. Happens all the time up until the age of 5. Its called febrile seizures. Happens when thier fever spikes suddenly. Just lay them on the floor and protect thier heads from bumping into anything. There are no lasting effects from it. As an EMT I have run on these kinds of calls alot. One thing to do is stack the baby tylenol with baby motrin. Give the motrin every 8 hrs and every four hrs give the tylenol. So lets say.... 12pm give the motrin.... 4pm give telynol and so forth. It will help with the fever. This comes from a pediatric ER Dr. If your baby or child has a high fever place them in a lukewarm bath and take a washcloth and run the wet cloth over thier skin. DONT make the water cool cause that will cause the child to be too cold. That will shock the babys system. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

My son who is 14 yrs old was speaking to his bus driver about his ADHD and the bus driver strongly believes that getting vaccinated caused his ADHD. I say no cause it runs in his Dad's side of the family all the way back to Daniel Boone who is a great great great great grandfather. What do you say??? I feel like I have finally grown up and actually mean something. I really have grown up alot in the past two years since working for Southwest Ambulance. Been quite amazing. Hes passing ROTC, Shop, and weight training. Just really ticks me off. He was on Adderall and it stunted his growth. That is one of the side effects. Also there have been studies done in Canada and it was finding that kids were suffering strokes and even death at a higher rate on Adderall. So I took him off it. Does she take naps in the afternoon? Maybe if she naps in the afternoon try to keep her awake that way she will be really tired and hopefully sleep all night. Put locks on your cabinets and so forth cause it could be dangerous for her. Make sure your bathroom door is shut and get one of those door things that makes it hard for her to open. Posted: 1 years ago What matters at this point is him getting into college or what he wants is to go into the Army and they wont take him without a diploma. Hes not on any medications at all cause I refuse to. He is finally growing at Im not gonna hamper that. Counceling didnt help one bit. Yes we all have been through alot and he needs to learn how to deal with it. He has been dealing with rough things since 2000 when his Grandfather suddenly died. He just doesnt care about his school work. Esp the things that are not fun like algebra, history and so forth. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

I know when my daughter was 2 we had a security alarm that accidently went off in the middle of the night and scared the crap out of her. She was too afraid to sleep by herself for a year! He is on it from the time he comes home from work around 5pm(or sooner if he has a short day) and doesnt get off the dang thing until 1am. We havent had you know what in 7months and a woman is getting desperate!!!!!!!! AAAACCCCK! I use it to talk to a few friends that I have, talk with my mother and run my new business that I just started up. My daughter uses it to play a game called Sherwood. Its a online game where they run around killing monsters and can talk to other kids. I watch what she does. The computer is out in the living room. She keeps asking if she can have it in her bedroom. So sorry that your BF doesnt have the guts to stay around to help with the baby. I hope you go after him for child support! But we dont need no stinkin men to raise a child (kinda helps) My name is Keri and I am 34 with two teenaged kids. I have one daughter and one son. Both drive me nuts but I love em anyways. I am a fulltime working Mom also. Im an EMT with a local ambulance company. I also am dealing with Cancer. Finished my chemo treatments so I am hoping its all gone!
