Ya I am just thankful to be alive. Im working on the healthy part.

I sat here watching the funeral for the Police officer and I was just in tears. Poor girl loosing the love of her life and her babies not having thier father.

I have heard about the bridge collapse and they are thinking that the death toll may be lower then expected. I hope and pray that its not higher. I pray that this city recovers from this and find out who's at fault for this horrific accident.

I just wanted to put out that yesterday was my son's 14th Birthday!!!!

Would have mentioned yesterday but I was pretty busy gettin things ready. He had a great day!!! We went over to his great aunts house were we all swimmed and had pizza and Cake! He got lots of gifts including PS2 games. Sheesh he will never get off that dang thing now!

Well hes havin fun. Geesh two more years and he thinks hes gonna drive. Im scared. LOL.

Ya isnt that true. Seems like yesterday that they were learning how to walk and talk. Now I cant get either to sit down and shut up. LOL.

My son thinks he wants a motorcycle. Not on his life!!! I told him he can have one the day after he buries me.

Ok everyone! The school year is starting either this week or next week. I wanted to send out a warning for all of us.

Please when you are out and about doing our stuff watch out for our children who are going to and from school.  Slow down in a school. Fines are quite heavy if your caught speeding or even passing another vehicle. Do you realize that when you are in a school zone that if you pass a bumper of another car in the school zone that it is considered passing and you will get a ticket if a police officer sees you?!

Also be extra cautious around school buses that are picking up or dropping off children. Kids have a tendency to dart out from everywhere and the chance of you accidently hitting one is great.  When a school bus turns on its amber flashing lights PLEASE start slowing down. That bus puts on its lights a minimum of 100ft before a stop (I know was a school bus driver). When the red lights and stop sign come on it means STOP. It is concidered a stoplight. You can get a ticket if a cop catches you. If a school bus driver can get your license plate they can turn you in. I use to do it all the time. If you do this 5 times a cop will send you a ticket. And lord the risk of hitting a child it great.

As a school bus driver years ago I had two different times where one of my kids were nearly hit while exiting my bus. The idiots went up the passenger side of my bus while a child was getting off. I was luck to grab one by the collar and plantin her butt on the stairs. I ended up scratching her back but its better then her getting killed. Her own mother was watching and said that she didnt care that I saved her life.  Another one I screamed at the girl and she stopped before stepping off. 

Please when I return to work I dont want to end up at another school bus accident. And I dont want you to get a BIG ticket either.

Slow down and be vigilant out there!!!

I just got home from Fry's grocery store. I found a GREAT deal on cereal. 88Cents a box. Now how I found this is on certain boxes of Kelloggs cereal there is a dollar off that box of cereal. I found it by chance and got it. Thing is those boxes of Kelloggs are $1.88 on sale. So YUP I found two boxes and got them each for 88 cents.

Gotta hunt for it. I got several items at frys today. A Gallon of milk, two boxes of cereal and a thing of parmesean cheese all for $6.23. How cool is that???  Milk alone costs nearly $5 without the Fry's card. WOW!  Its on sale for $1.97 and the cheese is on sale (Kroger brand mind you) for $2.33.

Not bad.

OMG!!!  H e double hockey sticks NO! THat girl does not need to have that expensive of a purse!!!! I can only imagine that she is gonna get beat up and the purse stolen. Things like that can and do happen with expensive things. I was never raised like that and my kids will not be and arent.  I refuse to spend tons of money on one item cause they WILL inevitably destroy it. Walmart is my best friend. A parent that cannot say no to thier child in this instance creates a spoiled brat.
