keriaz Joined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719	Title: Academic Red-Shirting Posted: 1 years ago My Mom now wishes she held me back a year from Kindergarten. She thinks it would have helped my self esteem. I wouldnt have. I had a problem that I didnt know I had until I was older. I found out that I was adopted and from the time I was born until I was adoptd at 5 months old I went through 9 different foster homes. I was mentally unstable. It has taken YEARS for me not to be afraid of people. I remember when I was a child and the first week or two of school I would sit there and cry in bed in the mornings. I couldnt understand why I was so scared. I found out later that I was afraid that if I left for school I would be abandoned again. I doubt holdin me back a year from kindergarten would have helped me any. Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

I told her cause I have a right to and that these men came into my living room daily and its like a family friends that have died. So ya I cry. If it turns out ok can I have one??? It also could be that your ex is feeding the kid a bunch of lies and its not fair. Just because you and your ex dont get along your ex should not put that child in the middle. I wish that I could afford to go there but having the cancer took all my money and has put me in debt. To have told my brother I loved him more (cant do that now that he passed away) 3. To have become an EMT years ago instead of getting married. 4. To not have been so afraid of people 5. Try to have some fun for your birthday and just relax. Sounds like going away for a few days is a great idea!! Good to just relax and swim and not worry about household stuff. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
